LOL , this is me in every historical Chinese drama :D
What an ingenious idea you have here! When I first watched Nirvana in Fire, I was totally confused because there were so many characters introduced rapidly and I didn't know who was who; some characters looked alike to me. Wish I had known your method then :)
Lead guy is a typical Clark Kent hero with no personality and he’s boring as hell. I personally find the second…
Don't judge the Jian Bu Zhi character too soon. I think he's a master of 点穴. This is an art of fighting without blood, but can kill, or can heal. Many wuxia masters know this art form. When hit on certain nervous points, the person can faint, not move, not speak or even die. I think in the earlier episodes, he does mention something about this art form practiced by his family, but he doesn't remember it anymore.
Somewhat feel like their adopted child when the scene only three of them eating.
Well, she's kind of adopted by Tang Fan when he rescues her from the brothel, and takes her squatting with Sui Zhou, and she 'adopts' them as her brothers.
What makes a good actor is, whatever roles he/she plays, he/she gets the response from the audience as expected of the characters. Xu Hao is such an incredible actor. As Jiang Tan in The Love Lasts Two Minds, she wasn't a likeable character, but in this drama as Wen Xiao Nuan, she is so adorable and fantastic. Love her!
I don't recognize Bian Cheng but I think that's him.
Just checked his bio. Wow! He's a veteran; he's done so many dramas. He's a wonderful child actor. There are so many great child actors in this series.
I haven’t started the drama yet but is that probably why I saw a clip of him kissing a woman that’s not the…
32 episodes in, I haven't seen any intimacy between the Emperor and the Empress. It's frustrating as viewers as we can see they both love and long for each other, and yet they keep holding back for fearing being rejected.
Didn't even last one episode because of the female lead. And I tried getting into it twice because I really love…
I dropped after the first episode too. I thought I didn't like the main leads - the girl was too dumb, the man was mean and not so good looking (so I thought). Pressed myself to go back when there wasn't anything else to watch. Bam! The male lead is the man every girl wants. I daydreamed about him for weeks after this drama XD.
I believe you guys are WAY TOO HARSH! On my girl Wan'er. Mark my words you all will be kissing her feet and begging…
I agree. I like Wan'er and I think she's perfect for Fan Xian. When Hai Tang appears, I begin to worry that there maybe a love triangle which I don't like. But I'm pretty confident that Fan Xian is not the type that goes for "freshness". He loves Wan'er and he'll stay faithful to her.
I'm confused by the bombs. I have thought the autistic Wang Xuan (the princess's husband) was forced to assemble all the bombs and they were carted away by the antagonist before Tang Fan and gang arrived. But why has Wang Zhi managed to recover the bombs from the scene, and store them in an undisclosed place? It's also mentioned later that the bombs were not assembled when Wang Zhi recovered them and he ordered them to be assembled before storage. Is this a plot hole? Did Ding Ron assemble the bombs? If he did, this is so inconsistent because on one hand they said only Wang Xuan alone could assemble the bomb, and then apparently Ding Ron also could.
