Oh boy, I couldn't agree more with your hilarious take on this drama! While everyone else seems to be raving about it, I find myself yawning so much because, let's face it, it's just plain boring. The plot revolves around Zhu Yan's emotional rollercoaster as she falls head over heels for her shifu. It's like watching a never-ending cycle of innocent looks mixed with some seductive vibes. Whenever she utters the word "shifu," I can't help but shiver with second-hand embarrassment. It's just not my cup of tea, even though I do appreciate the talents of both Xiao Zhan and Ren Min. Sometimes, a drama just doesn't click, no matter how much we adore the actors involved.

Yes, his character is very good. You can empathize with him easily. Bai Jingting's portrayal is very good too.

I didn't like it initially. I had the same feelings you have here. Then I put on my "entertainment" lenses. I found it really funny. Then it became rather addictive. So I guess, to watch this drama, one needs to keep an open mind and accept whatever thrown at you without judging and rejecting it immediately. It worked for me. :)
