why did chen yan yun wear that tall hat with a pearl chain hanging at the chin? was that a traditional hat during that era? was it only to be worn by the very high status? i've never seen this type of hat worn in other chinese costume or historical dramas. please enlighten me.

hahaha! i know how you feel about the ml. when i first watched him, i couldn't tolerate his sour face and helmet head. i gave up all dramas he made. then, i fell head over toe for him after "under the power". since then, he's my guy lol.

he's mad because su taiyi lets those people fight for the tablets to the extent of killing each other, including killing bystanders (the little boy he gave the knife to).

he only slaps his disciple around, not really harming him too much. i love that scene.
