Exactly! She’s able to rely on her guy roommate when placing herself in harm’s way but not give the same chance to LN. Which makes his jealousy of that guy even more valid. They’re both immature in this relationship and have a lot of room for growth, unfortunately it’s going to hurt good and I’m prepared for the angst!

I tried the 1st episode but the pacing is too slow for me rn. Maybe will hold it for another time in the future when I’m in the mood for slow pacing

I’m new to cdramas and t his is the 1st modern that’s steamy, still tame compared to short verticals. Try “When Fish Swim To Land” for short https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O1KV6BRh6eo&ra=m or “Prisoner of Beauty” for long historical. As you can tell, I have a weakness for masculine MLs. Kinda been fatigued with the pretty boys 😮‍💨

I tried to quell the downbad addiction by watching some clips of JBR’s past works but even though he’s jealous and possessive in Sunsets Secrets Regrets, THAT CHARACTER IS NOT THE SAME AS LN AND HIS LOVE FOR SZT

Dony made several attempts to advance with SZT. Since she felt threatened the 1st time, she and Lumi devised a plan to start recording their meetings to protect herself. Since she’s so meek, she endured multiple advances and the few was immense, causing her to tremble throughout the flight distance. Prior to that, she never knew full details of other victims.

In this show, her character puts herself in harm’s way to help Kitty (who was an enemy in the novel) and other victims. It’s nice that she supported those women but completely out of character for the novel SZt

I looked her up yesterday and she’s gorgeous and humble. Didn’t know she was on WGM w/ Siwon

In the novel she had a good enough reason not to rely on him but LN is less of a jerk on the screen so their mishap doesn’t transfer very well in this adaptation

I’m trying to avoid watching that preview. Epi17’s preview diluted the episode for me

Epi17’s scenes weren’t as epically nuanced as depicted in the novel. I guess translating it to screen isn’t as easy to transfer for the sake of time but why did I feel like there was too much slo-mo and “filler” or cuts to SZT’s harassment? Sigh! 😮‍💨

Just saw this trailer on YT, by accident while waiting for TES 1-episode-per-day, and discovered there’s no definitive airing date for this show? Trailer was released on YT about 8 months ago though?
