Epi17’s scenes weren’t as epically nuanced as depicted in the novel. I guess translating it to screen isn’t as easy to transfer for the sake of time but why did I feel like there was too much slo-mo and “filler” or cuts to SZT’s harassment? Sigh! 😮💨

According to the novel, it was not her physical features that attracted him first because he had past relations with model-like features and they were a bore to him. SZT was supposed plain-Jane’d but SQ is just so gorgeous with her slim figure that she sorta looks like a model to me
Horray! Glad I jumped on the novel train to get a feel of this romance story when it chugged along a few days before show’s airing. I seriously didn’t know anything about it prior and love that I am now addicted to this show. The chemistry between the Leads is peak, unable to see anyone else but JBR and SQ as our cp, the supporting casts are just as important, the beautiful cinematography, the OSTs, screenwriting and the director understanding TES ‘s assignment by effortlessly transferring most of the novel to screen. I’ve been on the edge of my seat for this cdrama since I discovered it. For sure it’ll be at the top of my favorites 🫠🥰🔥
