read a comment here saying this show is not for conservatives, I've watched 1 ep, and I liked it but does it get…
There's a character who's in an unusual relationship (being deliberately vague here to not to spoil) that may or may not upset you depending on how sensitive you are about it. There's nothing explicit though.
So something that has really bothered me is that the whole point of a forced marriage trope is that strangers/friends…
The forced marriage trope is about to get very important now that Gyu-hyun knows Ji Uk is his brother and that the Chairman has said he wants Hae-young involved in the succession battle because she has more hunger to climb the ladder than either of his sons. Ji Uk and Hae-young had to be married to move on to this part of the story. No it's not the usual way this trope plays out but that's been true several times in this story.
Someone on Reddit has this theory and I think it's a good one: ------ After rewatching Ep. 8, my going theory for Ji-Uk's connection with Hae-Yeong's mum is:
someone (maybe Ja-Yeon's father, or someone else connected to the foster kids) killed Hae-Yeong's dad, leading to the erstwhile end of her foster home. Hae-Yeong distanced herself from her mum, but then mum unbeknownst to Hae-Yeong started fostering (a) kid(s) again after her husband's death -- and took in Ji-Uk, keeping it secret from anyone else, with him being her closest confidant until she started showing symptoms of dementia and checked herself in. That'd explain how Hae-Yeong (or any of the other sisters) don't know about Ji-Uk, but also his close connection to her mum, and also Ja-Yeon's very real trauma and visceral fear. I'm clearly thinking about this too much (but then again, deducing from very limited bits of evidence is pretty much my job) ๐
I think FL would have to leave the company. ML should as well, he doesn't owe his father anything. Her ex won't…
The father said that Hae-young had more smarts and ambition than either of his sons, I think there's going to be some kind of twist where she will get a big promotion (yes it's not realistic but this is a contract marriage romcom)
I'm incredulous of people's reactions to 2ML. The supposedly well educated public figure wrote super nasty hate…
I hear you but I know he's going to have more character development especially now that he knows who his brother is. I predict he's going to learn be a better person from Ji UK. Having said that I can understand why people would say fuck this storyline.
I hate that twist with hate comments. I think is very lazy by scripwriter make Ha Jun the responsible of the worst…
The one stumble in the writing for me. But I will say I like that Gyu Hyun didn't try to make the secretary take the fall for the comments and instead took full responsibility under his own name. Also, I don't think she knew that his mother could destroy her audio play? But yeah, I don't like that the secretary wrote the worst comment and that he used her background to do it
He is not a virgin he did clarified that in early episodes
Just because he had a crush on her doesn't mean he's a virgin and he didn't come across as if he was teasing her about it, more like he was insulted that she thought he had no experience.
๐งตTurns out there's two versions of NoGainNoLove - a ๐ version airing on tvN and a ๐ version on TVing (Prime is getting a mix of both). Here's some of the changes (courtesy of Twitter and Reddit):
When Shin Min Ah explains why she broke up with Battery guy: ๐ "If he enjoyed thrice then I should enjoy at least once. He came as if it was a public bathhouse and only showered and left." ๐ "He held me like an exercise machine and sweat alone and left"
When Heesung says goodbye to PDnim at the wedding he says he really doesn't want to leave as she is looking sexy. She replies: ๐ Your eyes are too soulless to believe you are telling the truth ๐ It is too quiet down there to believe you are telling the truth
๐ Bok on the secretary's phone vs. ๐ Fuck on the secretary's phone
Okay, I have to say something because these comments are really starting to piss me off. Who are you to comment…
I'm pretty sure the toxic comments are one or two people creating alts so my advice is just block (all of the nasty comments have disappeared for me). Also you'll have to use MDL in your mobile browser instead of the app because for some reason you can still see blocked accounts on the app.

Also the sex toys scene is much spicier and funnier in the TVing version. The dildos are wearing little international costumes ๐คฃ๐คฃ https://x.com/vtaesgurl/status/1835715825367482482
