Highly disagree, but to each their own.The first 2 episodes of this drama where unexpectedly fun, funny, and fast…
Agree with everything you wrote. I just dropped Love Next Door and you are so right, it's a drama where not a single moment feels authentic and no one speaks like a real human being. Meanwhile No Gain, No Love is super sharp and funny with vivid characters and social critique but served up with tropes we love.
Obviously there are other reasons than money that the fl is looking to have a fake marriage for, but it seems…
I think weddings are cheaper in Korea, they only last a couple of hours and usually they don't do a huge meal, you rent your wedding dress, you generally don't have a band or a DJ, it's just a different wedding culture there
From the hints: ML was likely one FL's mom's foster kids but after FL left home, so he assumes she's a deadbeat…
But the drama also implied that he wants to protect her from the sleazy guy who lives in his building, that's why he destroyed the guy's phone. It's after that that he agrees to marry her.

I'm enjoying this show for what it is but I can't blame people for being disappointed. They expected a romance and instead they got a workplace drama. That doesn't make them shallow, it's just a mismatch between expectations and what's been delivered
Unless it is good precisely because it is telling multiple stories and is not (never was intended to be) a story…
Parbdee, the production company that made this drama, is known for the quality of their work. They won multiple international awards for F4 Thailand and Enigma
I totally agree with that, only if we get to know more about jane and how did he actually started to have feelings…
π―π―π― all of the characters are underdeveloped but especially Jane, I thought we were going to get a story about him aspiring to be a film director and being frustrated with his job but we got nothing and we don't know anything about him other than he has a poster over his desk for his favorite film. Since he went to school with Judy it would have been great to have a conversation between them discussing the interns but we got zero.
