Episode 14 makes up for any weak episodes. Great payoff, so thrilling, touching, romantic and cute! Haven't ever loved a couple in a drama this much. If you liked the beginning, keep watching.
This show is so good. I haven't watched a historical drama that I totally love yet. I have always been disappointed…
I like the characters and the story pacing. The writing seems solid and story keeps moving. The characters and their relationships are well developed. Good action. That's all good so far. Also this drama has aspects of superhero and underdog type stories which i enjoy. I like being able to route for the main character. With the more political ones, maybe it is just not enough action for me. And when the plot gets too complicated and too many characters are introduced, I don't get as emotionally involved.
This show is so good. I haven't watched a historical drama that I totally love yet. I have always been disappointed in some aspect of it (Empress Ki, Hwarang, Scarlett Heart) or lost interest (Jewel in the Palace, Nirvana in Fire, Six Flying Dragons, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Arang and the Magistrate, Princess Wei Young). With Nirvana in Fire and Six Flying Dragons they are so raved about, it makes me want to go back and finish them, but I keep falling asleep! But I love Rebel so far.
I'm loving this. Like everyone says the main couple is SO CUTE - especially Min Hyuk. His character is the perfect guy. Tons of swoony romantic cute scenes. I haven't watched such an over the top cute romance in awhile - if ever. A lot of people complain about the plot and side stories. I don't mind it. But I actually watch a lot of CSI Special Victim's Unit -which is like the complete opposite type of story as the main romantic plot. And I love martial arts and superhero movies. The slapstick gangster characters aren't my favorite, but I likes seeing a girl always getting the best of them. So even though the drama has a lot of disparate plot lines and tones that get mashed up together. It's definitely a worthwhile and fun show to watch for me.
Totally agree. I tried but couldn't keep watching after the first kiss scene. It was so disappointing because I loved Ji Chang Wook in Healer so much. The writing was so bad here. The romance was so contrived and boring. Action scenes looked great but when there is no emotion or story behind it, it doesn't matter.
