Please tell me I'm understanding this wrong, is Hye Ju actually blaming Laik for her cheating and getting caught!…
I feel the same about Hye Ju. But I don't think she's the killer. I think she's just fixated on being La Ik's savior because she keeps looking down on him, and she feels superior when La Ik depends on her. That's why even when he's told her again and again now that he no longer needs her, she refuses to believe it and sticks to her narrative. She just can't accept that he doesn't need her anymore.

Though...there's also a possibility where she did all this putting La Ik in this mess so that he'd have no one else but to turn to her. But if that were the case, I feel like there's too many flaw in her plan, so I think it's unlikely.

I feel that Jae Hee might be the next victim and they'll stage it as a su*cide. My biggest suspect now is CEO Geum, tbh. I can't trust that guy. And the manager could also be an accomplice, but I feel that he actually cares for the members that's why he warned Jae Hee to keep quiet. It's just that he's more loyal to the CEO. Or, the CEO is blackmailing him so he's got no choice but to do whatever he says.

I feel that U-seong might have found out something shady about CEO Geum, that's why he tried to sign with another agency to keep the members away from CEO Geum. And in the end, the CEO tried to keep him quiet for good. I think that's why the CEO didn't want Jae Hee to tell the prosecutor about someone else signing with another agency because it'll trace back to him somehow. And now that Jae Hee refuses to be a good dog and keep his mouth shut, he's likely the next victim.

And I agree with you on Se Na too. She's so tough mentally. But that's also coz she's had to be tough on her own to survive those years. I just wanna give her a big hug. And I know she's gonna kick that prosecutor's a$$. Don't mess with Se Na.

I still can't figure out who's likely the killer. If it was a premeditated murder, there must be motive. Why would someone want to kill U Seong? And if the killer was actually after Ra Ik, how could they mistake their target? Especially with such a precise attack? Or... is someone actually out to kill ALL the members and U Seong was the first one?

My suspects at first were Yeong Bin or the manager. But what can the manager get out of it? Why go through so much trouble just to kill U Seong? It didn't make sense. Jae Hee and Yeong Bin are both hiding something too, for sure. But at this point, I can't think of their motives either. If it's purely because of hate and jealousy, they could've chosen easier ways to screw Ra Ik or U Seong over by using the press.

I also thought maybe U Seong had a secret lover or something, coz that would explain no signs of intrusion. But I feel like this could involve something bigger, which might tie to the shaddy prosecutor family. Maybe U Seong got entangled in some messy business with them.

I hate that "As an idol I promise I won't date, I'll love only fans." Damn you got a partner and be happy! At…
I'm with you. I got into kpop more than 10 years ago, but also thought this whole "idol can't date" thing was ridiculous. Glad the idols I've stanned love slapping sense into fans πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I also don't understand why these celebs gotta apologize to fans when they're caught dating, or already married or with a child. That's their private lives. It has nothing to do with them being a singer or actor. They show up, do their job and entertain their fans, they clock out. That's it.

Fans like to act as if they're entitled to every detail about their so-called idols as if the fans own them, claiming they spent time and money on idols so the idols owe it to them? That's just bull. Idols provide entertainmentβ€”music, films, etc. That's the service fans paid for. Nothing more. It's not like idols didn't work their a$$es off to make fans happy. That's more than enough already.

Fans really need a reality check and know where to draw the line. If fans want to dedicate all their love to their idols, that's a personal choice of the fan, but idols don't have to do the same. They've got their own lives too. It's not like all the idols' fans are gonna stay single forever either. So how's that fair?

This was so good!!!!! This is one of those films where the slowburn really works for me. There wasn't a single boring or draggy moment. Even each moment of silence was filled with emotion. I love that Suzuki and Sugiki both communicate mostly through body languages and subtle expressions when it came to their romance. Some may not like it, but I actually find it more interesting that they didn't try to label their relationship. Are they together? Were they together? Will they be together? I have no idea. But I do know they LOVE each other and that's enough for me. Coz good lord, the CHEMISTRY!!!!!!!

I also really love our two beautiful ladies Aki and Fusako. I love their little friendship. So happy to see them getting to dance together as well!!! ❀

I didn't read the manga at all and had no idea what to expect, but I love dance and watching this was honestly so fun. Not sure if turning this into a drama would end up making it draggy, or a sequel would be unnecessary. If we do end up getting either with the same cast, I'm still definitely checking it out. But if we don't, I honestly love it as it is already. And this definitely deserves a rewatch!

It just felt like the time the news got out seemed perfectly timed and would be in TENBLANK's favor instead of causing them damage. Having it released right at that moment would've made fans support them even more. That's why it occurred to me that mayyybe it could've been Kai.

I came for the music and characters, and they definitely didn't disappoint. Akane's drumming and smile completely blew me away and got me smiling so much right from the start. And Keita Machida with long hair playing the drums??!?!!? *SQUEAL*
Honestly, when he easily carried Naoki out of the room in that one episode, I thought it was a BL for a second and had to double-check the tags coz I remembered it wasn't. Lolol

But OMG the music!!!! T^T I absolutely love the music in this series.

I absolutely love Ji Chang Wook doing action. He's just so good at it. Not many actors can do it like he does. I totally get why he'd always say he wouldn't do action again, because it can seriously be so exhausting. But I'm also glad he loves doing action too and would probably still do it for a while if his body allows. Lol. Hopefully he gets some time in between to recover and rest though.

yes..i think she is better than general in female general and shadow love πŸ˜†
You're right about her! I love how you described it. She really gives off that kinda vibe. I think I've seen a comment saying she's too stiff or her speeches sound monotone, but for me that's also what makes her so believable. It's more like she's very composed and calm, so obviously she wouldn't sound jolly and bubbly. I think she's my favorite female general so far.

And i still haven't started Shadow Love! Lol. I'm actually on a vacation and thought I'd have some time to watch, but i didn't πŸ˜† Still gonna give it a try though coz I like the cast too.

I agree with giving her a purpose to live on and to help her pull herself together again, but I'm skeptical about her being in charge too coz like you said, she's made all the wrong decisions.

yes..i think she is better than general in female general and shadow love πŸ˜†
I finished Female General just before starting this, and I have to agree. Fu Yixiao has that natural gravitas and domineering presence of a general, whereas for the one in Female General, though her being petite and weak-looking was part of the plot, it had more to do with the way she carried herself, her gaze, and the way she spoke which fell short compared to the female general here.

I've only seen Li Qin in Joy of Life and her role there was kinda plain so it didn't really leave an impression on me. But here, I thought she pulled off the role of a general so well!! It didn't feel forced or like she was acting tough at all. It also wasn't like she was purposely behaving more masculine. She didn't have to. She presented herself as a woman the whole time, yet she didn't lack the strong presence of a general. Even when she was speaking softly or looking at Suige lovingly, you still feel that she's a general.

I have yet to watch Shadow Love so I can't comment on that yet. Lol. Gonna start watching that soon!

Just finished the series and I'm actually feeling kinda disappointed with the last few episodes...
It was still good up till the part where they left the storm alliance. But then the last few episodes didn't quite land for me.

I was expecting some solid development from Xiyang. But judging by the things she's said even after joining hands with the emperor and at the very end, she's still what they call a ζ‹ηˆ±θ„‘ through and through.

Earlier when she divorced Xia Jingshi, she spoke as if he owed her, and I just got so tired with her. I get it though, she's the princess. She thinks the world revolves around her. She thinks she deserves everything. She still thinks just because she willingly did so much for him, he should've loved her back in return. So then she hates XJS because he didn't reciprocate her feelings, and didn't give in when she threw herself at him?? So if he slept with her when she stripped, then he's a man worth loving?? So you mean like the emperor????

Well, it figures though. What she said at the end proved it. She said she fell in love with a man who broke her heart (πŸ™„) , then met a man who loved her, and in the end she couldn't even keep his child. I'm like.... 😦?????? So the man who fooled around with women and decided to sleep with her when he didn't realize his feelings yet, and even used her and confined her, and refused to let her leave, was a man who didn't deserve to die? And the man who kept refusing to sleep with you, treated you with respect and looked away even when you forced yourself on him, and even told you many times and gave you many chances to leave, is the one you loathe and wronged you? Ugh, I give up.

Honestly, whenever Xiyang breaks down in tears like we're supposed to feel sorry for her, I felt nothing at all. XJS is a jerk, but he also said the truth. Xiyang brought this all on herself. She made the decision to betray her father and brother. She made the decision to threaten Suige with her own life to help XJS. Yet when things went downhill back home, she blamed XJS for it? Even she said it herself to Suige that she brought it on herself, but she also still thinks XJS wronged her. The only time he wronged her was putting that sword through her. He never wanted to hurt her and he never once did, until Xiyang left him with no choice.

Xia Jingshi has done lots of bad things. I'm not saying he's good. But I did appreciate how he didn't take advantage of Xiyang and still kept telling her to leave. Still, even though I know it aligns with Suige's protective character of his sister, I find it ridiculous how he (and Xiyang) blame XJS for what happened to their father. Erm....it was the empress' and the Murongs' fault?? It was also Xiyang's fault for betraying her family first?? It sounded so lame for Xiyang and even Suige to pin everything on Xia Jingshi (on top of the Murongs). If he's referring to the things before their father died, I agree. But ever since XJS left Susha, whatever happened in Susha basically had nothing to do with him anymore.

Xia Jingshi deserves to die for building the death camp, for manipulating Yixiao, for trying to kill Yixiao. But making it all about Xiyang at the end just fell so flat because Xiyang's reason for hating him sounded so stupid (though I get where she's coming from). But Xiyang still sounded like a spoiled entitled princess to me until the very end, which kinda irked me.

Did she really learn her lesson? To be very honest, I don't feel like she did. Like Suige said, she's always been a tough girl inside. So her "toughening up" wasn't exactly a development or growth, it was just amplifying her traits. At most, she put her family first now. She learned that no one cares more about her than her family and that her family matters most. But other than that, her views on "love" remained the same.

If she really learned her lesson, she wouldn't have thrown herself again at another man, and then actually fall for that man too. Why? Because she didn't really LEARN that she couldn't change a man. She only learned that she was foolish to think she could change Xia Jingshi. Keyword: Xia Jingshi, not "a man". She fell for Jinxiu's emperor at the end because she felt that she "changed" him. She was the "special one". The one-in-a-million lady whom the emperor fell for. So she was moved by it, and she smiled for him at last. πŸ˜‘ She and the Jinxiu emperor really suited each other though.

I really enjoyed this drama up till the final 3rd or 4th episode. Chengyang was a refreshing character too because although he's sweet and kind, he isn't stupid and isn't blinded by power or greed. I also like Ning Fei. I thought if Xia Jingshi got to him first, he might choose to return to him. Or that he'd still think of Suige and his people as enemies after he's recovered. I'm glad he was such a loyal friend to Yixiao. Love that he ended up with Xueying too!! I also love Xueying. Too bad we didn't get to see much of her towards the end. But omg her dad Ling Feng is hilarious πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Also love the fight scenes especially in the first half when they had to impress the audiences with Suige and Yixiao's skills. Those were really well choreographed.
