Since Sol will be back in the future after the accident/taxi driver thingy the old Sol won't remember anything…
Honestly the whole not remembering thing is confusing. How do you have a whole life you don't remember.... that you then remember later on ? Futur IS will remember everything that past IS doesn't, that doesn't make sense. I don't even know how they'll built their RS in the future unless IS stays in the past.
I'm not liking this stalker killer taxi driver sub-plot at all. Just why?
Because they love to add pseudo thriller-mystery to romance shows that can't sustain 16 episodes on it's own, because the story is too basic. They looove to do that.
I'm not gonna lie, writing episodes around miscommunication in big 2024 is embarassing. It's like the easiest plot drive possible, be better, it's just ridiculous, I agree with QD28.
Why does Im Sol act like a 30yo with Tae Sung but like a dumb teenager with Seon Jae. Don't tell me about "he's her idol", they've known each other long enough now that it's no longer an excuse. Especially since she's been treating him like a friend, even if she has a crush on him.The goldfish eyes and round mouth like ?? It's like two different persons. I'd like to see her be a 30yo back in her teenage years even with her crush. Maybe it's to not show a noona RS? There is no reason for SJ to not be an immature 19yo after all, why would a 30yo fall for a 19yo ? Idk. Men do it all the time you might say lol. But men are trash.
Also please, getting out of the house the day of your accident to get him an umbrella ? Risking your legs so that he doesn't get wet ? Come on.
The time traveling will get even messier, wonder how they'll explain everything. Will she remember a new life in the future, the one that she has lead as a walking person, on top of her first life?
He never adopted him in the conventional younger brother sense....also from the beginning both of their affections…
Agreed ! The binge watching definitely adds to my opinion. Those who watched it week by week also probably talked a lot about the "little things" they saw that could feed into their narrative so after so many weeks they see things differently than us. Which is fine, but it's true that people don't seem to accept different opinions on MDL. Everyone who criticize something is always a hater to their eyes.

You're factually right, but I didn't see Qian as just taking care of another orphan, that's where my problems lies unfortunately... It might come from the fact that the actor was the same both in teenage and adult life whereas the actor for the younger brother changer ? idk
He never adopted him in the conventional younger brother sense....also from the beginning both of their affections…
Sure grown together, not one raising the other... I dk, it's all about opinions at the end of the day, but I don't think they conveyed Qian's changing love for his brother well enough imo, it almost feels like he gave in in the end because he wanted to make his brother happy, especially after that whole talk about death and regrets (the napkin thing). It really is a writing problem for me more than the whole "incest" thing
I'm not pressed by the incest itself, I've seen other stories with similar plots and was onboard, but in those…
Yeah, he was not as pro-active as he should have been to sell the whole thing. It was awkward, it almost felt like he did it to make his brother happy. That would take it too far, and I know that's not the case but the whole talk about death and regrets just before kind of felt like that's what it was.

Perspectives I guess. When we grow, some siblings are less tactile as they use to be, I saw it that way. Like, we're grown, stop. I really couldn't see it any other way but I guess it can be seem the way you explained it. I didn't read the summary so I wonder if knowing/not knowing who the couple would be influences how we interpret things.

It definitely was from the younger brother's POV because the writing team wanted to make it clear that his feelings had change. It wasn't clear at all from Qian's POV, at least not to me.
He never adopted him in the conventional younger brother sense....also from the beginning both of their affections…
San Pang did not care for Lili the way Qian did for his brother, you're playing dumb on purpose here. It doesn't matter that he didn't adopt him, he cared for him like he did his biological sister, if they wanted to show them not being real brothers, they shouldn't have shown them as such a tight family like that. They chose to do that, to show us fraternal love, and that's fine you know. Some people can then get behind the growing of their RS, some can't. I can't.
Bro did u even see the series??The younger one fell first
I didn't accuse you of harassing me haha, it's just that everyone loves to debate a basic opinion as if their is a mind that needs changing. And why would I not watch it if like you say I'm not unconfortable with the plot ?
Bro did u even see the series??The younger one fell first
I saw the hardship but couldn't feel the attraction. I get what they tried to do but I don't think they brought it well enough imo. Hadn't they spend so much time on the past showing how much they are all like a family it would have been fine maybe. They show Qian too much like a dather figure to his brother for me to get behind him ending up falling for him without it being weird. I already finished the show, but it's not sensitive at all to me don't worry. I just don't like the writing choice they made that's it, it made the relationship weird.

I didn't. I don't like to spoil myself with summary. By the time I understood I was too far in and I expected the writing to be at least good enough to get me behind the relationship. I don't care about incest as long as there is no family love showed to is (GOT, House of the dragon), but here Qian was a father figure to his brother, it's weird of him to start seeing him like a lover.
I'm not pressed by the incest itself, I've seen other stories with similar plots and was onboard, but in those…
Thank. You. The family bond is too strong in this one, it makes the relation weird. I can get behind incest when I don't see family love (GOT, House of the dragon). But here they CHOSE to make us see the father that Qian was to BOTH of his siblings.
