It definitely was from the younger brother's POV because the writing team wanted to make it clear that his feelings had change. It wasn't clear at all from Qian's POV, at least not to me.

San Pang did not care for Lili the way Qian did for his brother, you're playing dumb on purpose here. It doesn't matter that he didn't adopt him, he cared for him like he did his biological sister, if they wanted to show them not being real brothers, they shouldn't have shown them as such a tight family like that. They chose to do that, to show us fraternal love, and that's fine you know. Some people can then get behind the growing of their RS, some can't. I can't.

The family bond is too strong in this one, it makes the relation weird. I can get behind incest when I don't see family love (GOT, House of the dragon). But here they CHOSE to make us see the father that Qian was to BOTH of his siblings.
