The whole chasing someone from your previous life in the next one, I can understand. Homegirl is tired of living, this is how she finds purpose I guess. But chasing this particular child ? No.

You won't make me believe that a 10+ times adult (in a young girl's body) can actually have fun with a child as if she was one herself after living all the lives she had. Also, enjoying so much being around a littke kid when you're a grown adult is weird, idc.

Maybe he could have said something like "I'll recognize you in our next life, I promise" and then she can think "oh well, it's technically still the same life for him, will he recognize me, I wonder and I'm bored of living so, hey why not check and freak him out ?"
But doing all that just to be close to him again because she had "fun" for like a year in her previous life ? no
The level of attachement she has for him knowing her past, I'm just not buying and I find it icky.

Now, if there is an actual real and believable reason as to why she likes him so much, I think it would be best to let us know as soon as possible, otherwise it's hard to get into the story and understand her actions (hoping he's not her past lover's reincarnation, that would be too obvious).

100% what bothers me with this plot. Like, the kid was not even that interesting on their first meet but this is the most fun she had in a long time ? A literal adult in a little girl's body ? How do you actually feel 12 after living so many lives ? I feel like we'll have to forget logic and reason with this one

That's exaclt WHY there are more and more k-dramas about child abuse though: money.
Usually Kdramas try to portray life in a better way than it really is in SK and when studios saw that bullying (which is a huge huge probleme in SK) and particulary revenge of bullying was bringing numbers, then they started ordering more and more shows/episodes about it.
If it was not selling, they wouldn't talk about it, trust me, it's a business, they are not here to lose money just to raise awarness.
Since those plots brings a bit of justice to characters that a lot of people can identify to, a lot of people are watching.

I didn't talk about other people, I talked about me. The higher my standards, the less I enjoy things that don't make sense, simple as that. The fact that I don't remember being bothered that much by season 1 compared to episode 2 migt be enough proof. I also know that there are shows I liked a couple or more years ago that I don't enjoy much now because I got to watch better things so I expect and want better.
It might also be that the unrealistic things happening in episode 2 are more visible in one episode than in all of season 1, which might be why I'm bothered now but not so much then ? Again I don't remember much of it so I can't answer that question.

Exactly ! I can still sort of ignore the super strength or whatever of ML and assume his opponents are just that bad at fighting even though that's not how it works in real life. But the hacking ? Now they can do whatever and explain it by "boup boup, computer skills". The glasses are the worse, I swear 😭 like they just work anywhere ? They look so fragile and the side taping ? lmaoo

I don't think they try to be realistic either considering what I pointed out, but it's hard to ignore it sometimes. I'll still watch it though because I like the band they have. Male lead going AWOL for all day and night without anyone checking on him in his cell, I know they don't care but still, it's convenient. They get ambushed, but they can't go to the big boss, but oh well, who cares, it serves the plot that they do instead of just calling him on the side of the road. None of the vilain has weapons ? Sure. He can fight all of them without sweating and even take the big guy in the end ? Sure. They can locate the dirty cop getting away even though he had no tracking device on him ? Sure. Male lead won't make it in time and he knows that because of course he knows the city even though it's his first time in Vietnam and can tell how far away he is from where he is going, right ? Right. But don't worry apparently they can hack into the doors of the abandoned amusement park that look too old to be automatic and it gave him....15 seconds ? yeah he was definetly too far.

Plot armor was strong strong in the second episode + too much things they tried to explain by just "hacking" everything even when it was not possible, it kind of ruined it for me.
I don't know if it was that obvious in season 1 because it's been a while and I can't remember, but there were just too many time where I was like "How even?".
