Okay I will divide it into categories STANDALONE 1. The Poet Empress, another book that gives cdrama vibes. I thought it was fantastic really tight writing 2. Blood over bright haven, much more steampunk and thrilling plot twists 3. To Poison a King, absolutely adored the writing in this one. 4. The Binding by Bridget Collins, crazy plot twist in this one too, one of my faves 5. Warrior, Princess, Assassin, I would DEFFO read this after This Kingdom will not kill me, I had such low expectations and it blew them out of the water, I can't wait for book 2 which is dropping in November I think.
FANTASY SERIES 1. Six of crows & Crooked Kingdom, steampunk style fantasy, very stylish and fun, amazing characters 2. The Poppy War [another book series with cdrama vibes] check the trigger warnings for this one it becomes intense. 3. The Green Creek Series, this is urban fantasy I'm not the biggest fan however the series is absolutely amazing, I genuinely think the author is a genius 4. Ash and Sand series by Richard Nell, one of the best coming of age fantasies I've ever read 5. The Triloka series by Avery Hendrex, INCREDIBLE one of my 6 stars from this year. The love interest is not who you think it is. 6. The Aelfyn Archives, I'm on book 3 right now. I adore the characters especially Jassyn! When you meet him you'll know, very fantasy forward with an exciting magic system, one of the best I've ever read. Again the love interest is not who you think it is 7. The Archer's Heart. Such a beautiful and stunningly written fantasy series, each book was crafted with so much care. Again the author is a genius
I'm still quite new to the fantasy genre and only seriously started reading it in like 2024, it also takes me a while to finish a whole series. I hope you find something you enjoy from this list, and if you have any recs for me please let me know, as my TBR is so long and I never know what to start next

Wow that quick glad you enjoyed it! Can I know more about your reading preferences, I mainly read historical/high fantasy is that okay? Are you also fine with MM romance for example, or only MF?
