I used to watch a lot of BLs in like 2022, with Japanese BLs being my favourite actually (I love Cherry Magic and My Love Mix Up) but I kinda stopped watching because I found the plots to be too thin, like I just wanted more from the show than "here's two boys and they are going to fall in love," I really wanted to see complexity, beautiful cinematography, even relationships that are toxic. I'll definitely have a look at your list, I don't think I've watched any Taiwanese BLs. For Thai BLs I remember loving I told the sunset about you, but I tend to struggle with Thai BLs for some reason, I do like how they choose unique plots though.

what country do you think does the best BL dramas?

Yes I watch Chinese, Korean, Western dramas (so dramas from the US and UK) Nigerian, Indian etc, I just love costume dramas in general and historical plots. I watch chinese historical dramas the most because out of all the countries they produce so many costume dramas, for example this year Korea has only dropped 1 historical drama while China has dropped like 20+ dramas

Lol it's probably not for you then 😂 I exclusively watch historical/costume dramas so BL is scarce in this area. There is the currently airing series Journey With You (historical) not sure if its good though
