Something about her acting just feels genuine, her eyes are so expressive. I'm really glad there seems to be some progress on her new drama, here's to hoping it actually airs.
It was hilarious and very promising initially. As with most of these lighthearted historical romcoms, the plot is very thin/weak so when they delve into "serious" stuff it gets incredibly boring. Wish it would have just stayed funny.
The quiet scenes between the leads where it was just the two of them and they were talking to each other were so intimate and some of the most romantic yet understated scenes I've ever seen in any drama, let alone a lakorn. BUT everything else was so messy. The back and forth, the neverending revenge plots, the lack of character development and intelligence from literally every character. It was a lot. I'm glad I watched it because Yaya and Mario had some amazing chemistry, but I will never watch it again.
I wish him using her for a bet would have come out earlier. Like, they make them break up and get back together so many times before then. Also they make her go back to him after he was a complete asshole multiple times. Like, the big confrontation at the end where she finds out was so lackluster, you knew this girl was going to forgive him. There were already so many crying and pining scenes that the BIG one didn't matter by the end of it all.
I enjoyed the beginning a lot. I love angsty relationships, spoiled rich kid Gossip Girl nonsense, betrayal, and all of that good makjang stuff. But this one falls soooo flat by the second half.
Also, please forgive me. I LOVE Red Velvet, but Joy's acting is nowhere near female lead material yet. ALL of the other actors were so much more expressive, it really showed that she was lacking. Girlie should have taken on some support roles before this.
With all of that said, I still enjoyed it. I would never rewatch it but it was a fun experience in the first half.
I loved the FL and all of the male leads except Jin Han lmao. Their interactions were all good but the story is so mediocre. The plot isn't engaging and goes on for so long. PXR and all of the other actors deserved better
It's been 3 yrs and still not released. Removing from plan to watch list. Have no idea why they didn't release.♥
Hallyu ban. There was a period where China blocked all dramas with Korean stars, i thought the ban was over but i havent seen any of the shelved dramas released so idk
This is my first cdrama and I'm rewatching it rn. Still love it as much as before. The CGI is crappy now, but…
Yes!! People want all characters to be likable good people, but it's refreshing getting a character like BZH. I LOVED Goodbye My Princess and the ML there was a freak lmao, very compelling though. Dramas now will claim to have characters like BZH but the ML almost always gives in and sides with the FL. In JoF the ML is actually strict with his morals, even if it's the wrong thing to do and harms the FL. People will shout that it's toxic, and yes lmao it is. But it's an emotional compelling journey to follow with morally grey characters.

Edit: Nevermind lol i scrolled down a bit and saw that they're not really connected
