This was very entertaining! Loved the early plot twist which took me completely by surprise. I felt the ending could've been a bit better. Lee Kang disappears in episode 5 and I wish we got a bit more of his perspective on things before we learned the back story. I understand they wanted to keep us in the dark, but I think it would've been more exciting to also see more of Kang's viewpoint towards the end.
Ryu Jun-yeol has confirmed his appearance (and Hong Kyung as well, as he's tagged him) on his IG and looks like production has started! What a great duo. Can't wait for this. 🥳
Started out well for me but the writing was unfortunately below par. Kim Bum's entire character was useless, there was barely any focus on the village and the farm, but endless focus on FL's job. They spent valuable time in the final episodes on some skincare company traitor which no one cared about. Some of the character dynamics made no sense. Pairing everyone up felt forced. ML/FL did their best, though.
Odd English title. "Bias" in this sense is not commonly used in English outside fandom circles. I assume this isn't going to a big global OTT then, because then it likely would have been changed.
I thought this guy would get more prolific career after The Glory and Exhuma. But, well, it's at least something.
He was in the military. This is his third project since being discharged if he accepts. Can't really be prolific when serving your country. Grand Galaxy Hotel is a high-profile Netflix series from the Hong sisters to be released early next year, from then on you'll have your proliferation.
Because popularity is based on number of watchers total and this is a drama that is still airing. So naturally most past dramas will be higher as more people have seen them.
is that fucking ai poster?? that standing guy doesn't look like hyun wook
He looks like him, there's just a drawn effect, seemingly to underline the storybook concept, where the teacher is watching the events unfold through his student's writing. No way of knowing if the effect is made using AI or photo editing software, but I like the concept.
Haven't seen a better written ML in a while, he feels like he has believable traits, his actions are justified…
I mostly agree, though sometimes they're pushing it a bit for the comedy. It's not believable for him to be this clumsy as a plastic surgeon no less, and to not even be able to open a jar 😭
This is neither a comedy nor a romance drama. It will be darker, scarier and have more action. So in the end I…
Hmm, “feels like” for me speaks to what something, well, feels like. Not what the general setup is. Hence my confusion. Because this *feels* very different to me, which makes sense based on the genres. But then I understand what you meant.
This drama feels a lot like "The Haunted Palace", but with a bigger budget and better CGI/VFX, along with…
This is neither a comedy nor a romance drama. It will be darker, scarier and have more action. So in the end I don't think they'll feel very similar at all.
