Everything about the drama is being kept tightly under wraps. We only know that it's a historical romance, possibly with fantasy elements. No synopsis exists yet.

They definitely seem to have misjudged the tone of the local hospital staff. It's fun when they're a bit strict and sassy, but here they just seem rude and unwelcoming, which is less fun.

I feel like they could come up with a better English title than Final Table. At least it's just a working title.

Everyone's ... kind of annoying? Is this intentional? Maybe I was just grumpy when watching ep 2 🤣

The first episode was funny and a good setup for the rest of the drama. But I did think it lacked some warmth and heart. The lighting was also kind of dull. Hopefully the drama will become more emotionally involving as it goes.

He very much is. A plastic surgeon serving as a public health doctor.

It says in the synopsis that he is a plastic surgeon but he is sent to the island as a "public health doctor" as part of his military service. So it seems clear that he'll be working in a more general capacity rather than with his speciality.

I wanted to love this, and I did enjoy it for the most part, though more so in the first half. But the writing simply wasn't up to par. The entire L'Etoile story could have been removed altogether and they could have spent more time on the villagers instead. Eric was never a love rival, and I'm not sure why we were meant to care about the whole thing with him and Michelle. It just felt like a distraction to me.

I especially struggled with the final two episodes. We spent way too much time on the villain in something I feel like should have been resolved earlier, because I really did not need endless scenes of him being annoying and then trying to kill himself. There was so little screen time for the main couple together and it was really weird. We spent so much time on all the other characters, tying up their little stories, that it almost felt like the main relationship was an afterthought for a large part of it.

I am intrigued to see what this turns out to be, after Choi Hyun-wook, Lee Jong-suk and Go Min-si all rejected the offers they received - and then the director left, too! Maybe the script has been retooled.

Much too soon to tell from a ten-second snippet of a scene where we don't even know the context or whether they even know each other yet.

Besides, Ahn Pan-seok romances always have great chemistry, so I have faith.

How do we still not know the episode count here? I'm assuming 8, probably.

Has global OTT been confirmed yet? Hopefully Netflix will distribute this.

It clearly pays off to have friends in high places. Either way he lied about dating her at first, and only admitted to it when the evidence became too obvious to ignore. He knew her as a child. So it's still grooming, even if he is telling the truth about not dating her as a minor. And that's not even getting into his and GM's treatment of her after the DUI and how all of this led to her tragic demise.

In what world is this remotely newsworthy. Social media followers? I think this might be a new low.

I don't think this will be revolutionary, but if nothing else it should be worth it for Hong Min-gi's face. Apparently even the director joked at the press conference that he cast him because he's handsome 🤭
