Seems it would make more sense to wish for him to pick better romance/life scripts and thrive doing something he likes doing. Guess we'll see how Welcome to Samdalri is.

It's funny to me that his fans insist he keeps doing more action dramas, when he has been very clear about how that isn't what he actually wants. He wants to do more romance/life dramas instead.

I really understood in the end why the director said Gicheul had the "purest heart" of the characters. Ultimately, that in part led to naivety, with him thinking those close to him wouldn't betray him. It was refreshing to see a "villain" who actually felt human and flawed and that you could sympathize with, and Wi Ha-joon's portrayal of the character definitely helped that come across for viewers.

I love this drama, but I'm worrying that the romance is developing too slowly with just six episodes left. It would be a pity if we basically only get the couples together in the final week, limiting our time with them.

He definitely has some PSJ in him, and they are similar in their approach to comedic scenes.

Wi Ha-joon was so good in this. I just love the roles he has chosen after his breakthrough with Squid Game. I can't wait to watch him in Gyeongseong Creature in December and Graduation next year!

If so, maybe it's good that image was tainted, because it's very limiting for an actor if they only get sent scripts for wholesome characters. I would be interested in seeing him play a darker character or even a villain.

He's been really good at picking projects these past years. I wish he was doing another drama next, but it seems Omniscient Reader will be a high-profile film where he'll be the lead, so should be nice!
