All it took was them giving the SML a cancer sob story and the comments about their baby Kangmin with the puppy eyes are predictably everywhere. Won't someone please give the poor actor a main lead role in a romance (of course when it happens they'll still cry over the SML.)

It's probably not *only* you. Every drama drags for some people. Especially these days when everyone's attention span is bad. But for me this show has been perfectly paced so far.

We knew he was selfish because he kept the plagiarizing producer on payroll despite knowing about it. But I don't subscribe to black-and-white thinking. So many people watch dramas thinking someone is either just good or just bad. The world is shades of grey, mostly.

For sure. Some would call the whole bakery bug subplot "filler", but I think it was a great way to show development for Do-ha's character, with him being more comfortable in public, lowering his guard and not hiding because of his past.

It's the lying bell. At first it was a bit unclear to me if she was remembering it from when he talked in his sleep or hearing it again, but I think she heard it again. Either way we know at this point it's likely because he feels somehow responsible for her (assumed) death that it reads as a lie.

Really enjoyed episode 7. Pacing is still very good. I like that they spent some time showing Do-ha become more comfortable and building a network in his neighborhood, I also like that they're not going the obvious villain/stalker route with Kang-min. He seems sympathetic at this point, and while he may still try to win Sol-hee back, I think it's clear that's not happening. Syaon is more pathetic than anything at this point to me. Love the easygoing chemistry between the leads and how they actually communicate. Now it's time for Sol-hee to finally trust someone, and not run away again because of a perceived lie.

It's really weird. Murder DIEary finished filming a long time ago. He parted ways with his agency in April this year, too. Not sure what's going on with him. Hoping for news soon.

It seems a bit strange to spend 7 episodes on developing the kid characters and talking about the importance of the new generation, for the show to then pivot to the adults in episode 8. I also thought it was a bit odd to spend 20 minutes in episode 6 to give us the back story of Gye-do, only to have Frank kill him in the very next episode. It seems episodes 8-14 will be about the adults, which seems like a long stretch to not see our trio at the school. Hopefully 15-20 will be a balance.

Oh, definitely. People are obsessed with "green flag" characters and can't handle an adult drama with complex relationship dynamics without endlessly whining about it being "toxic".

While I am impatient for new episodes, it's nice to have this to look forward to at the start of each week.
