It's such a beautiful story but why is the rating below 8 ?
All the episodes are rated between 8.8-9.2. But I'm guessing some have given the drama a very low overall rating because of the age gap or student/teacher dynamic.
Can I watch this without watching S1 first? I don't care if I miss some back story for some of the characters, just if there's anything that won't make sense at all plot-wise if I start with S2?
8.6 yesterday, 8.1 now. Funny how this always happens to BLs on this site. Semantic Error's rating breakdown is especially preposterous. It is what it is.
It might be great even if it's just about the same total length as Our Dating Sim (also great). But it would have been cool to finally have a KBL with 40-minute episodes *and* a decent episode count.
I'm also confused about those 118 minutes but wouldn't it also be quite weird for the episodes to be such different…
Ep 3 and 4 may also be 30-ish minutes each with recaps and credits taking up time that wouldn't be in a movie. If the next two are 30 min, that's 140 min total, remove 3-4 min from each ep for recap/credits and you're basically at 118 min. Some scenes are often slightly trimmed for movie versions as well.
I don't get the people gaslighting others for being disappointed there was no kiss. If its a romance, of course people will expect a kiss, like there is in just about every straight drama labeled "romance". Obviously it's possible to enjoy the drama even without it, but due to societal attitudes, BLs more often than non-BLs tend to be squeamish about showing any kind of physical intimacy, and that's a bit sad.
When it comes to making decisions (stupid as they are) where they’re not hurting anyone else, I don’t see…
Oh, yes - I'm not excusing bullying as such. But your actions as a child should not ruin your career as an adult, whatever your job is. People grow and change.
It's just a stupid decision, clearly influenced by Korean culture and their expectation that everyone should be immaculate with no flaws or missteps. People having to defend themselves against everything from drug addiction to premarital pregnancies and having bullied someone when they were 8 years old. Postponing projects does nothing but affect hundreds of workers on those productions.
