After the flop that was Dear Hyeri, hopefully this "versatility queen" has found a good project again.

The sources are listed at the bottom of the article, and LJH addresses both The Second Signal (saying he hopes all the work and effort people put into it isn't wasted) and Taxi Driver Season 4 (saying he really wants to do another one). So I'm not sure why you're mad.

I'm enjoying this so much! It makes me feel like when I first started watching kdramas. Love the writing so far, and the OST is so pretty, and none of the characters annoy me too much. The slow burn between the leads is really doing it for me. Hope they can stick the landing in the final four eps!

Hopefully they won’t infantilize the character because of his disability, but judging on these stills I’m not sure what to expect.

Oh yes, I agree with that. Monday-Tuesday tvN dramas rarely become hits, but there are exceptions like Marry My Husband (also with PMY), Lovely Runner and Shin's Project.

I think this would've done really well on SBS in the Friday-Saturday slot that Buried Hearts was in, but this tvN slot feels like an odd choice for a mystery thriller, even though there is romance. I guess we'll see.

If anyone needs a big hit asap I don't think it's the Squid Game actor with 13 million followers. He's got enough offers to pick scripts he likes, rather than fishing for another big hit.

They both look great in these stills. Wi Ha Joon said he was actually looking for a romcom project but that when this script came his way he loved it and couldn't pass on it. So I have high expectations!

To believe that such a decision exists in a vacuum is naive at best. Anyone could break under that amount of pressure. And at that point your actions are no longer rational.

I don’t buy this speculative “being intentionally delayed” narrative—Netflix Japan released 10Dance with a lot of fanfare and no issues with spicy promos less than a month ago.

She's widely seen as being great at action too, though. She was nominated for the prestigious Baeksang award for Best Actress for her performance in My Name.

I doubt it. With other recent Disney+ dramas, Light Shop also filmed for about 6 months and was 8 episodes. The Manipulated was 12 episodes and filmed for nearly 9 months. So I expect this to be 8 (or 10 at most).

Probably good that it was rescheduled until after the Winter Olympics.

Apparently this is scheduled for release on Netflix in Q4 (Oct-Dec).

Except it’s not “an ordinary romantic drama”. It’s a youth drama focusing primarily on the two male leads and their friendship and rivalry. Romance will not be the main focus and the “FL” is third lead. This is a tvN weekend drama and was never gonna be “BL”.

It has a solid chance to go up today as it's not competing with Taxi Driver 3. Once that started at 21:50 last night, this dropped from 10% to 8% in the real time ratings.
