We all know knetz' only reason to live is to be outraged online about silly things. The beef about historical accuracy is especially funny since there's literally a disclaimer at the start of every episode saying the drama is "entirely fictitious". And of course they're mad about the sex (scandalous) 🤣
not sure if it's confirmed but the synopsis seems gay enough to be a BL
It's not going to be "bromance". Netflix has confirmed it is a love story between two men. And "BL" is not bad for your career. If anything it improved the career of actors like Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan. Now Nam Yoon Su is also starring in an upcoming gay drama. You make no sense.
I thought it was a romance between two partners; how disappointing to watch yet another American series.
Literally based on an acclaimed bestselling Korean novel by a gay Korean man, based on his authentic experiences with queer life in Seoul. Script also by him. Nothing about it is American. Get out of here with that nonsense.
The romance was by far the weakest and most poorly written part of the first season, and yet from the trailer,…
I thought the romance was lovely and understated in the first season. It was not the main point at all, and the main emotional line for Chaeok was obviously her mother, not Taesang.
I love how Nam Yoon Su is already posting about it on his IG. Many actors that work in BLs seem to try to hide…
Let's be real too - most of the hate comments are not from Koreans. They are mostly from a very specific group of people, with a different cultural/religious background.
I find it very interesting that almost all the comments here are saying they didn't like S1. Maybe I am few of…
Most people did like S1, which is why it has 8.4 on here, which is a very good rating, especially lately when most dramas seem to be around 7.8-8.2. Haters are always louder, though.
Her role went from main lead to support, then Boah and Nara casted so she may be thought the role is small, KindaI…
Maybe the producers were spooked after all the loud negative reactions to Hong Su-zu in The Impossible Heir, also on Disney+. It can be difficult to hold your own as a lead when you don't have a lot of experience. Hopefully she books something else instead.
For everyone calling LITBC a BL, please understand that it is not BL. Dont diminish its significance by labeling…
I appreciate and agree with the distinction, though it should also be said that for many “BL” just means a drama with romance between men, and they are not familiar with the other connotations of the genre/term. So I don’t think we should chastise those calling it BL either.
