Really loved it especially the actors though i really wanted a scene where the office people find out about ml…
There's so many of these double identity shows where they mess up (~= don't do) the reveal :(

wow. the rating goes up significantly. when I saved this drama as "plann to watch", the rating was still…
Online ratings (MDL or anywhere else) have no particular relation to how good a show is these days, but:

if you want a sweet fluffy rom-com with barely any angst, and workplace scenes where the leads are indeed workplacing together, while still not-workplacing together as well, this ticks those boxes.

Remember this boys, find a girl who looks at you like Hu Xiu looks at Xiao Zhi Yu
You mean a captivating professional actress 🥰

There is a major issue with the drama. The VR game scenes are boring, and I feel sleepy whenever they appear on…
It's really bad writing or translating to call it a "murder mystery".
It's more like a social engineering party game, or a political mischief sandbox, or a 1920s multiplayer role playing game, or...
... In any case it's not A) mystery or B) murder.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
Not a break up. FL on receiving shocking news needed a bit of time to take stock. She just needed a bit of space…
The applicable rule here seems to be:
If they don't formally get back together, they never were technically broken up.

It's more like having a fight, saying some angry words, and making up later.

I'm on episode 25 & it really doesn't figure much in the drama. I would say it's only making up 15% of drama.…
Thriller tag should definitely be removed from it. Besides for some unnecessary light angst later on, there's nothing whatsoever into that direction.

While at it, the show of course is not "Historical" either.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
happy ending?
HE for main couple, but not fleshed out all the way.
OE/HE for secondary couple I suppose.
uh, some sort of redemption arc for a villain.
nobody gets murdered to death.

Lu Yu Xiao is wonderful.
Is it worth watching this for LYX?
(How much screentime, relevance, romance plot, etc, does she have?)

Maybe you should watch the slightly unhinged "playing with the corpse" subplot. That and one of the FL's…
FL is buried. ML digs her out, takes her away, and essentially treats her like a normal living person for a week.
Some of his stronger acting from what I recall.

Review Kill Me Love Me Spoiler
Maybe you should watch the slightly unhinged "playing with the corpse" subplot. That and one of the FL's action scenes were the only worthwhile parts of whatever happened after the first like 3 eps.

One of the best C-drama endings I've ever seen. Just incredible, thank you Lu Yuxiao and thank you Chen Xing Xu.Goodbye…
Personally I thought both the ending and post-creds scene were rather weak.

The phone call a bit before was really well done though.

That would be fun
Agree, though I actually thought the architecture work stuff was much more interesting or well done than the usual work plots in let's call it 'business romcoms'

broh i feel like their chemitry would be best!!!![sorry minghao, ily too]
I think her LBL chemistry is better than her LitC chemistry.
Not as flirty etc of course, but more of a realistic/natural couple.

Wait till you discover Kopiko and Eggdrop🤭
I do remember K-dramas where half the dating scenes happen at subway or there's a supermarket chain shown in every episode or characters suck all kinds of things from little plastic tubes and satchels, sure.

But I figured they'd do them less in the streaming age.

After reading your first paragraph I wonder what you'd think of Fangs of Fortune.😂
I only watched Fangs in autumn and eventually came back here today to see what I said about the chemistry between the leads... to reply to a comment on a new drama where people are referencing leads' chemistry in Esther's dramas 🤗
(IMO in that regard LBFAD was solid, Speed and Love strong, this here weak; just finished watching Love Between Lines which I'd say is on par with Speed and Love in that regard)

I was waiting for them to reveal their relationship to the members in the studio😭I wanted to see their reactions…
Would have liked that a lot more than the final scene (and post epilogue scene) we got.
Btw, maybe better to spoiler tag your post.

Loving this drama so far and I remember being so hesitant to watch it after seeing uncomfortable scenes on YT…
You only really get "actual" red flag MLs in short dramas. In long ones they're always censored to be cute endearing puppies.

Hello fellow Lighter & Princess fan! I still feel L&P deserves a higher rating than it has now. It has…
Her chemistry in LBFAD is decent, in Journey it's murky, and in SAL it's really good. Like The First Frost, Speed and Love is already worth watching for the leads' chemistry.

It's the same thing (lots of slow motion and very pretty water), with even less story substance, but Fangs is much more BL. Here it's just 1x from what I recall (Xue+Xue).
Fangs has an excellent OST though.

Are those in C-dramas though? Never heard of them.
