With this new episode, you understand a little better some of the side characters ! You won't have a villain you'll hate lol And Gene's jealousy is at the same time cute and sad lol I especially love the cute (and almost flirty) interaction between Gene and Nubsib !

How can they like each other already ? Falling in love and attraction can happen quite quickly....Also we have to wait for more episodes in order to understand their "link"....Many here notice than Nubsib seems to be a little "sketchy"...so you have to wait a little in order to have some kind of explanation....

About horny scenes and sex scenes....Is it really hypocrisy ? lol NO. Gene obsession and nightmare about NC scenes is also a way to indicate his internalized homophobia since he doesn't accept his own sexuality....He is also quite introverted (and inexperienced) so he's also uncomfortable with the "subject". As for Kao naked chest, well, some people has desire...and Gene has desire (a desire he doesn't accept (yet). As he says in next episode, he's also confused about his attraction.
Not everything is "all or nothing" in this show. There is a part of irony, yes. Besides if you were half asleep, of course you wouldn't catch all the subtlety of the show...
Also the problem is not having a horny character or not...but having a story developing those characters...And that's what they are trying to say. That doesn't mean you won't have scenes with "sexual" attraction in the series but it won't be ONLY that. You'll also have tenderness, other subjects as ambition and masks, fulfilling your artistic dream or destroy your dream in order to be successful, etc.

Yes, it was a solution but also maybe his publisher doesn't want this (it may not sell well). Horror and fantasy tend to have more plot (even in a BL context)...you need to be patient while reading it. Not every reader has that patience ?

MDL may have not such a rule but it is a matter of intellectual integrity.
Especially when you criticize a series negatively. A lot of people work for those series and make a living from those. We should also respect their commitment especially when some of them basically get sick because of overworking (I think of Up) and are so tired. It is a matter of respect.
And sometimes I feel that the users of MDL are not so respectful of this work and the passion of the people doing those works. Be fair, respectful and thoughtful. Those users are basically consumers, never taking into account the human beings behind those works. This is dehumanizing and it makes me so angry....
We have a responsability too as a viewer and user, otherwise it is too easy....
