I love Jung-Won! She was definitely a great FL to me! Nice recap. I loved Jung-Won and Young-Chae's dynamic too,…
The poisoning subplots were very sageuk-esque. Makjangs at their best lol
Honestly the way I would've done it is show Jung-Won's transformation into a villain. Not the final boss (it'd be cool though, especially with the last quarter of the drama), but imagine her turning into the main villain while Young-Chae becomes a better person. I loved Jung-Won's villain era too.
Exactly! And what was the point of those politician guys who were backing Tae-Seok? Se-Hun's mother being a foil to Hye-Ra sounds juicy π
For sure. Definitely a daily drama I might revisit in the future!
She doesnβt wann meet her stupid father. I dono y these desperate idiots r forcing her. Also canβt understand…
I saw some clips of Park Min-Young in Siren's Kiss, and I... I dunno. I wasn't too big of a fan of her acting. Also, she does look very skinny, if she has an eating disorder, I hope it gets better for her.
It ain't cute, it's creepy... π
I've been thinking about getting into c-dramas, tbh I've avoided them for a LONG TIME because: 1) I never liked how Chinese sounded (very nasally, but... my views are changing now lol. I promise I'm not racist, it's the phonetics that throw me off, even in real life), 2) I assumed they were all historical dramas, 3) all the popular ones sounded too similar to each other. MY BIGGEST problem with k-dramas is the writing of female characters/FLs. In recent years it's improved (especially with streaming and/or primetime dramas), but there's still a long way to go. I'll check out those actresses. I think I've heard of Zhao Lusi and that's it.
Oooooh! I'll definitely take a look at these! π I've heard about Esther too, what's the thing with her and Lusi having a conflict? Or is it MDL being messy AGAIN? I don't know who Bailu is, though.
Surprised you're watching this, my friend. Hong-Ju ain't even a real antagonist, neither is her bummy mother.…
I call Hwa-Young the "serial slapper" at this point π I'm glad she's been getting whacked back though!
Problem is the trailer & summary promised us an intense revenge story, and none of that has happened... I feel tricked and betrayeddddd! Raaaahhhhh!!! (I'm joking, I'm disappointed, but not mad lol) K-drama logic... ya gotta love it sometimes. π
For some reason I see the grandpa getting axed next. The professor is a possibility, but he seems more likely to go to prison or get taken somewhere... regardless, lawyer wife needs to dump him like, yesterday... the synopsis (somewhere else?) also mentioned the twins' mom dying, but that hasn't happened yet? I find her extremely annoying & she acts like a buffoon. I just skip her scenes, but if she's been on less, then, woohoo!
Another thread full of women being scumbags being celebrated as women being strong by immature delulus. Also sprinkled…
Not every k-drama female character is going to be an angel, or, if I may put it bluntly, idiots that act like 5 year olds. Or immature weaklings. It's 2026.
Oh he has rape allegations? I KNEW I didn't like him in Return for some reason... couldn't put my finger on it. π I guess I won't be watching Goodbye Mr. Black...
I'm crying why would a owner of a WINE BAR not know French π Jinju and her friends tried it!!So far enjoying…
The funniest part is that they were speaking complete gibberish. That is NOT how French actually sounds π
This is definitely a more "adult" version of Penthouse. Basically Penthouse but without the teenagers, which is how I wanted the drama to be more like, because honestly speaking... I did not give a fuck about the teenage storylines. AT ALL π
