The worst daily drama I've seen was The Two Sisters. That was AWFUL!
I think I dropped it around the time the FL's dad died and the ML disappeared, then they'd moved Seo Ha-Jun's character to be the new ML (which was confusing.) I just checked and I apparently dropped it at episode 70, I feel like it was WAY earlier than that, though. 😂

For Queen's House, I actually enjoyed it. I gave it a 9/10... and I mean, the rest of the cast was great. Additionally the other actresses you listed are talented too, and they did great in their respective daily dramas. Park Ri-Won was good in Cinderella Game, Kim Kyu-Seon was great in Snow White's Revenge (even if I hated the ending), Lee Hyo-Na was good in A Graceful Liar too.
But your judgement was inaccurate. The show is not focused on the entertainment industry, even if the synopsis has future developments, the genres should at least tell you what it's about. This is why people usually read summaries before watching a show instead of jumping into it with assumptions (which is far more inaccurate. It always is, because plot twists and storyline changes exist.) Strange hill to die on but... I guess. 🤷🏽♀️
Additionally, the first episode of ANY show (regardless of origin country) sets up the plot. Which is also why it's called a "pilot episode".

Kim Kyu-Seon was great in Snow White's Revenge, didn't like Lee Ga-Ryeong in Queen's House too much (I thought Park Yoon-Jae was the stronger "main villain" acting-wise.) But the rest were wonderful too!
The drama started very recently. Not enough episodes have aired for it to have a concrete rating.
Ooooh, I've gotta check out The Judge Returns, Ji Sung is a favorite of mine. The Glory was good too, from what I saw. Glad you're willing to try it out! 😁
bro this hasn't even released yet what are you yapping about
I understand that completely! In fact I'd say I mostly agree with that, the world sucks these days. 😔 However, my issue is that they're doing exactly as you described. Plus, people here (not everyone, of course) are unwilling to even explore new things, dismiss anything that isn't a rom-com or a romance drama, or generalize anything that doesn't suit their tastes (this one is personally annoying to me. 🙄) I low-key used to be like this and it kinda makes me cringe seeing this still happen in 2026 lol
No, that 2019 drama is not a makjang just because it's not an office romance with the stereotypical cold ML and the ditzy FL. That is a crime drama. And that drama focused on sports is not boring, it is a sports drama. It's doing what it's SUPPOSED TO DO. No, not every sageuk needs an element of romance in it, a political one is fine and tends to be a bit more (but not always!) accurate historically. And makjangs aren't even an actual genre- a drama can have makjang elements (clichés) WITHOUT actually being one. Boys over Flowers might be the best example of this. 😂
And action dramas exist too, yet they're often considered boring on here... it's strange. 🤔
