I mean, the FL in Queen's House turned ruthless and people still hated on her, thinking that she was going too…
Completely agree. I loved how ruthless the revenge was in Gracious Revenge too, with the FL (Carrie Jung, played by Choi Myung-Gil) kidnapping the villain's child and then raising her for revenge.
Sorry I didn’t manage to read the whole review but could you please tell me how is the romance in the drama?…
Not incredibly slow, it kinda gets faster in the second half, but they don't kiss for real till the last episode. The FL is mainly focused on revenge (and for good reason!)
Baek Ho is the main lead, so he's the end game don't worry.
No disagreement there then. Lol plus this screenwriter usually has ML and FLs end up together, so I'm not worried. Just a rare possibility that they might not- but it's slim to none!
Her actions of revenge towards Hye-Ra, I assume. I think this will be the start of their reconciliation, somewhat.
Nan-Suk too... although I want her to win 😂
Hmmm. Hmmm... still disagreeing with you on BBQ Aunt kid's death but Ki-Bum's death *was* indirectly caused by Hye-Ra- kinda. I feel like the writer doesn't know what to do with her... but then also she said that she was gonna come back for Jung-Won? Then that weird truck accident happened 💀
No? 🤔 Did you forget how Jung-Won was trying to turn everyone against Hye-Ra, manipulated Se-Hun (low-key why he turned evil, but anyway...) and used the media to harm her reputation? And the clear guilt that Hye-Ra experienced? Or how Young-Chae pretended to be Su-Ah? Or the fake pregnancy... a lot happened, man. Lmao, one positive thing came out of it- JW and HR both have near-death experiences to relate to now! Narrative parallels doing their thing yet again...
Min Hee-Kyung is definitely Hye-Ra's evil older sister. Evil but more sympathetic.... if you like older, villain FLs, I recommend watching Red Shoes.

If you're asking about the romance, there's not much of it, but we get some sweet moments throughout the drama! And the ML & FL have a slow-burn type of relationship. Hope this helps!

So none of this was Tae-Seok's fault at all... like not even a little? Can we not ignore the general plot here, at least? Lmao, also how did she cause BBQ Aunt's kid's death? This one came outta nowhere lol
Oh, BOO! You mean to tell me the nuthouse wouldn't work on Hye-Ra? The last real villain she played took a one-way trip to Crazyville... and got redeemed. 😂 At least here we saw her suffer a lot. As for the poison... that was so lazy on the writer's part, I gotta agree with you on that one lmaoooo
You'd despise Min Hee-Kyung from Red Shoes if you hate Hye-Ra this much... she's unimaginably worse!

At least with HR we have some clues: her not wanting to be with a criminal/"murderer" of a husband, and the fact that she'd regretted leaving JW to an extent. I'm curious about TS's backstory, though.

No disagreeing there. Hye-Ra is both a participant *and* a victim. It's very... complicated? But I kinda blame the writer for this confusion since they never completely clarified or deeply explored Hye-Ra and Tae-Seok's past enough. Maybe we'll see more in the upcoming episodes?

I don't think you understand that Hye-Ra was never set up as an actual villain in the first place lol. She's a very grey and complicated woman, definitely unlikable but we're 77 episodes in... you don't see ANY development in her whatsoever? 😂 I think she needs mental help first and foremost... how about tarot card readings from Chef Hong? 👀
I mean, the FL in Queen's House turned ruthless and people still hated on her, thinking that she was going too…
She wasn't ruthless enough for me! She should've killed some people like how Eun-Jo/Ga-Hun did in Miss Monte-Cristo 😂 but I'm glad that Jae-In mostly went for the "eye for an eye" approach.
Man, Tae-Seok needs to DIE already! If he doesn't die by the end of this drama, I'm crashing out and flipping goddamn tables! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!
I can no longer stand seeing Se-Hun's face, I'm sorry. He's become such an insufferable and idiotic jackass, just like his dumb wife Young-Chae. Just because you can't lust over your stepsister anymore doesn't mean you need to make it everyone else's problem! That whole dinner scene was stupid and irritating, it was so bad that I just had to skip it at some point. Like, you KNOW it's bad when baby sis Semi is telling y'all to stop. They were at that dinner table acting like teenagers. Such a dumb scene, both Se-Hun and Young-Chae piss me off. And they're not as smart as they think they are. I need them to suffer THE MOST!
Okay, now that I got that part outta the way... Nan-Suk was the MVP in today's episode! Homegirl should've been a detective, cuz she dug up that birth secret so fast. 😂 I loved her scenes today too! She'll always be my fave in this drama! As for Hye-Ra... man, the way Tae-Seok treated her was awful. I can't wait till she finally divorces him. Now, with Jung-Won. I thought her becoming the gallery director would be... bigger news? Unless they're saving it for a better payoff and a huge reveal. Also, did she really drink that poisoned wine? God, I really need the old Jung-Won back, *especially* after the Darth Vader reveal. Like, girl, if you don't unleash the wrath of your devilish father on these people... 💀
Semi, Semi... if I'm honest, I'm not a fan of her acting? Especially her voice. She seems incredibly whiny and... fake? Maybe it's the writing lol. Also, I feel like Jina is a goner. When she'll die? I don't know, but I *do* know that she'll die. Daily drama visions at it again lmao. It was a fine episode today, but the preview was even better!

I kinda like Ji-Na now too!
