Title A Graceful Liar Spoiler
First of all I'm very happy with how fast the whole "Jeongwon is Taeseok's daughter" truth got revealed.…
I love it! Ha-Neul is getting grey now. Tae-Seok? Run over? Too easy, his death needs to be drawn out!

Young-Chae and Se-Hun are equally pathetic, they're not "final bosses", more like annoying minor antagonists. Ironically, I feel like both of them may die. Young-chae dies as punishment for Nan-suk's sins, and Se-hun dies a brutal death... somehow. Not sure yet. Maybe he sacrifices himself for Jung-won or something.

Now that you mention it... I'm not sure! I don't think Mi-hyang and Manager Hwang will end up (that's NOT something you just get over), but then again... daily drama universe. Tae-Seok's actor is just incredible... like wow. I said in another comment that monologue gave a good look at his mindset. Absolutely chilling! And Tae-seok will definitely escape! Some of the people I predict dying are: Jina, Manager Hwang, Young-Chae (daily drama psychic senses are kicking in HARD for this one), Hye-Ra (very unlikely, but it'd be a major shock), and likely Se-Hun (kinda like Man In A Veil.)

What do you mean by assassinate Jung-Won's character? I loved her in the first half, but then she went downhill a bit, and now I find her fun again. Her kidnapping Tae-Seok was heartless (OG Jung-Won) and I love it!

Do-hyun *is* usually a male name after all 😭 so yeah. I miss tvN dailies!!! And thanks for the explanation about the car accident!

I really love manipulative ,,villain’’ characters, But…I watched few episodes and rn I was thinking to continueing,…
I think she's supposed to be a heartless/remorseless person, although I get what you're saying. She was WAY worse in the manhwa, though.

Good point, good point. In daily dramas regarding twins & revenge, one twin usually dies/disappears, so I *really* hope it's subverted here.

I think that is the point with this drama. They have been throwing out big reveals often an early the whole drama.…
I've seen less believable stuff in makjang dramas... Penthouse (not really a makjang, though it definitely had tropes) had an FL with a literal doppelganger. Escape of the Seven had the main villain randomly get plastic surgery to look older and pretend to be someone else, plus an island of death and everyone getting high off hallucinogens. Two Mothers had a surrogacy and an SFL hell-bent on revenge using said surrogate pregnancy. The kimchi slap. That one drama where the guy spit out his orange juice when he found out he had a secret daughter. The entire plot of Cruel Temptation. And another daily drama where a mother-in-law became a DIL to her actual daughter! The face swap (YES, this is a thing) in Ruby Ring *and* Left-Handed Wife. The soul switch in Secret Woman (don't watch this, btw.) Nothing phases me anymore. 😭

Tuning in for Cosmic's weekly AGL recap!

Completely agree here. Manager Gu is truly the best, I love that guy! Tae-seok is sick. The actor is doing an incredible job playing him. Haneul really locked in this week and I love it! Jung-Won has been standing on business for majority of the drama, I honestly don't expect her to reconcile with Taeseok at all! As I said, I don't really hate Hye-ra (I never did), and I'm neutral on her. Nan-Suk, despite her heartlessness, does seem to have some care for her own blood to an extent, as seen with Haneul. Again, I skip Sehun's scenes now. Dude is a massive idiot, along with his wife (Young-chae is 2x more annoying which doesn't help.) Even Nan-suk was amused by how fucking gullible he is.

Manager Hwang was wild for that πŸ’€ dude YOU KILLED HER DAUGHTER!!!!! Why are you still trying to get with Mi-hyang?! I feel like if they wanted Hye-ra to save Jung-won, it could've gone so much better, idk... that whole scene was unnecessary. Ah, at the end of the day it's a daily drama. I'm glad that Semi and Jung-won are getting closer, though. I think the Haneul thing was just lip service... just a puppy crush lol

Tae-seok DESERVED THAT! PERIOD! Like I said, I predict that he'll die at the end. There is NO WAY that he's surviving, especially if he kills more people once he manages to escape (which he will!) As for his view on Hye-ra... yeah, pretty much. He was obsessed with her because he wanted to own like a trophy. Sick man. That "flower" is gonna end up poisoning him! And the whole car accident set-up thing is confusing af. I've been trying to understand it, but...

I think Tae-seok will tell Se-hun somehow. I think they did the accident trope already with Jung-won, kinda. I think Min-jung is gonna end up being used as a double spy/mole by Hye-ra! I'm excited! And see- I didn't even know that Lee Do-hyun was a woman. She's good at writing morally grey characters. Really underrated. I'm getting close to finishing Secrets and Lies, and it is SO fun to watch! Then I'll get started on Witches Game. If A Graceful Liar ends well, it's going into my top daily dramas list. (I plan to watch Family Secrets too! It has one of my favorite veteran actresses in it, Shin Eun-Kyung!)

Dear Inspector Megre,

I am not watching this drama (I never even heard about it till today, also I don't usually watch rom-coms.) But I see you're still up to your old tricks and stupid shenanigans! I must say that I'm impressed, you managed to be racist, xenophobic, sexist, and still a nasty and miserable incel. You have not developed at all. You are disgusting, but I hope you get the mental help you need. Well, you could grow as a person too. All you do is harass people, trash actresses, and trash everything else. Doesn't this depressing existence make you at least a little sad? Don't you reflect on your words and actions? Why must you be so pathetic? I think your mother would be very disappointed in you.

Anyways... much love to the actors. I saw Lee Yi-Dam in Artificial City and she was great there. So I think I'll check this drama out in the future.

Title A Graceful Liar Spoiler
Her actions of revenge towards Hye-Ra, I assume. I think this will be the start of their reconciliation, somewhat.
I doubt Hye-Ra actually thought she'd have gotten pregnant or knew it was Tae-Seok's kid (she obviously DIDN'T know, seeing how shocked she was when she got the DNA results.) Just assumed it was Ki-Bum's kid since she slept with him later on. She really got some action that day, huh? πŸ˜‚ Common soap opera trope.

I'm not disagreeing on the part about Hye-Ra lying and leaving Jung-Won for a better life (deadbeats suck, no matter the gender lol.) Honestly she should've tried harder to find Jung-Won, but I think it was hinted that Tae-Seok also somewhat inhibited/damaged her search somehow (if it really did happen.) Again, it's not a black & white situation nor is it presented as such... as for the reconciliation? Eh... it took Hye-Ra nearly losing Jung-Won for her to get her shit together. Whatever, I honestly think they're better off working together because as much as I love JW, she's VERY IMPULSIVE! And so reckless. Hye-Ra would rein her in a bit... πŸ€” I was hoping their relationship would be left open-ended, maybe standing somewhere and they pass by each other on the street...

Just how many daily dramas are you watching? Lol

Red Shoes has the deadbeat mom as the evil protagonist, while this one doesn't. (Hye-Ra and Jung-Won are like…
I agree, and we could sympathize with her (Hee-Kyung.) Hye-Ra was definitely ambitious and greedy, just like Jung-Won. She didn't wanna be poor and attached to a "criminal". Obviously it's more complicated than that, since Tae-Seok was obsessed with her and viewed her as a possession/trophy (in these recent episodes, we get a REALLY interesting view of his psyche), and Hye-Ra somewhat fed into it. Hye-Ra isn't just a villain and that's one of the (few) things I likeabout her- like she has NUANCE! We need more of that in daily dramas!

KBS daily dramas do seem to be making a comeback now, though. Which is great because they're barely on anymore... it's only the KBS and MBC dailies. SBS dailies aren't on, tvN's are dead, jtbc barely had any... no more morning dramas either. I've mostly been watching older ones myself... I miss those days. πŸ˜”

I think that Baek-Ho and Jang-Mi will end up together too! I love their chemistry so far and I think they'd make a great couple. I'm neutral on Jun-Ho, but if he becomes a villain... then NO!
