Pretty cool. My first FSF drama was Minglan and he was so good in that, then watched him in The Legend of Zhuohua. very disappointed with the voice dubbing in that.. totally spoiled the whole drama for me..... so after that, I am so relieved to see him back in his elements, I am looking forward to see this drama...

Gong Jue Rui / Jerry Gong was outstanding as the emperor. He never once made you feel that he was too young for the role. At just 11 years old, acting alongside so many veteran actors, he carried himself fearlessly, and his dialogue delivery was absolutely impressive. Such a talented young actor!

I still remember watching him in his very first drama, The Sword and the Brocade. He was so tiny back then, playing the little boy who was poisoned by the concubines. Seeing how much he has grown as an actor is amazing. He is definitely going to become an incredible actor in the future.

Actually i took a break and started from 28, and going slowly.. to hear every conversation slowly.. since i depend totally on subs... Also i would hate this drama to end...

He doesnt want to put any doubts in his mentors mind, his mentor is also very clever man.. they all know CYY is very capable, even though he does everything the way he wants, ever since he realised his mentor is no longer in the right path... But he makes sure things wont get back to him or anyone he cares..

I think the cast also made a big difference.. very smart of him to choose Ci Sha.. this is his first drama as ML.. and but he is in movies.. even did Shadow's Edge with Jackie Chan.

Good thing is this is the third collab of Ci Sha and RenMin which also must have made it friendlier atmosphere... if you see the BTS all of them are pretty relaxed.. Ci Sha is so different from the usual Idol actors.. very mature for a 26yr old.. even Winwin is same.. age! all of them made it very worth watching.

I might go and check out few of his older dramas.. to see... if they are good and just underrated or not...

First time I am seeing a Coming of Age ceremony filled with vibrant colors, breathtaking costumes, graceful energy, and an atmosphere that felt almost magical. The children's song I had to go to Viki to see the translation, so apt.. Every detail shimmered with beauty, from the richly styled outfits to the joyful laughter and glowing decor, creating the event unforgettable. As she walked in, the canopy above slowly lifted off like a curtain unveiling the sky, allowing light to pour into the celebration — creating a breathtaking effect.... beautifully done..

Also these viewers prefer idol actors... paper white and painfully thin... ! There was an attack on Renmin when this drama was just released that she is fat and she should go on an intermittent diet....!!

I didnt find him awkward at all doing kissing scene, eventhough he said in an interview... kissing scenes are the most difficult to shoot, It has to look good, it has to be in the right angle... there are things like that... also this is his first kissing scene in a drama...!

I think the fact that its RenMin, made it all the more easier for him.. this is their 3rd colab...!

I really like the way he scoops her up... and also the way Renmin hugs him.. with hands around his neck.. usually i see the awkward hugging of waist...in dramas

I kinda miss seeing YX, he brought lots of fireworks to the drama ,,,,, then i saw the preview of 35 with him there. The difference in these two (SML) is... he couldn't accept initially, so came and confronted face to face ... but then he realized GJZ really love YY, so he accepted and wishes her well....
The other one CXQ... is creepy and lurks around withe only evil intentions... its so unethical for him to carry her... whether sick and dying you call her assistant... stupid idiot... the way he ran when he heard physician was called to that side... WTH?? its his uncle's wife.

Why should he... he was only thinking of no one digging up his father's story, bcoz that will be the end of CXQ and can even affect YY for adopting him. The choice was also given... he knew what's best for him...! ML also asked him if he had any other interest and this guy blatantly lied.... this we are talking about happened almost 4 years back... why is he bringing that up now. Even after all this he was sending him away.. so that Wang guy wont dig up his past.. which is a serious thing.

I can't believe.. the turmoil both the leads going through, imagine a guy stand up infront you and say all those things about your wife... A man who pride in his integrity and loyalty towards whom he serve. Who loved his wife unconditionally and was always proud of her...
The good thing is he doesnt doubt she did anything wrong.. but he just cannot accept she loved someone else before... especially the way CXQ described.. which was all in his mind.. if you remember YX whipped her for another reason.. if he knew she had any interest in CXQ he would have taken the whipping.. instead.. also after the whipping.. it was Yao who took her back.. this moron was standing there only.. looking at YX... what story he is spinning.. take your head out the cloud.. !!!

CXQ is a mistake created by CYY....! he met GJZ also becoz of YY...

It was not that she told Yanyun, it was YanYun who asked what is your relation with Ye Xian, since she took so much risk to save him....
I feel Ye Xian and her seriously could only be best buddies..esp since no one knows how he will react to anything you say....! so unpredictable and reckless. At the same time, YY had great admiration for his father.. and tried hard to push YX to be serious in life.. he also knows YX..

in XQ's case... there was hardly any interaction between them, at the archery competition, she saw him and also realised he is engaged to her friend... she immediately excused herself and went away... Also meeting XQ was when she came first to the capital. she stayed almost a year then her mother mom passed away and she mourned 3 years... after all that time only she fell for YY. When she encountered him at her house when they opened it for her sister... she realised he is bad news.. Then she told QP that i am going to tell him but knowing his temper i dont know how it will end up.. but somehow it didnt happen... Yes I agree she should have.. but anyone in that circumstances would hesitate..

I feel the only flaw i see in the drama is it doesnt show the passing of time clearly.. esp.. the mourning 3 years...

I didnt see today episodes yet...

Hopefully this Friday they will drop express package instead of their one episode a day... circus..!!

Its not misunderstanding actually, bcoz CYY doesn't doubt his wife at all, he just felt bad, she didnt feel secure enough to tell him, and also that stupid guys said.. she pursued him and he is her first love... which made him jealous.. all together... he just didnt know how to handle the situation.. he was very disturbed... it was just his state of mind...!!
