I didn't expect Meguro Ren and Imida Mio to meet again here after the film My Happy Marriage. Mio here is very…
Yes! Good to see that she's getting more recognition.
I first knew her from Tokyo Revengers and really love her portrayal as Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage. She surprised me in Trillion Game. When it was first rumoured that she's joining the cast, I fleetingly thought she was going to play Rinrin.
Kinda hard to explain without spoiling it ;-) Let's just say that their roles are really different compared to…
The two main characters are the two guys Haru (Meguro) and Gaku (Sano). Imada plays Kirika, a support character. They are rivals here but their chemistry is still awesome.
What chemistry/role is between meguro ren and imada mio has? Just watched there movie- as long as we both shall…

Business dramas are not really my thing so I was in two minds when I first heard back in March that Meguro was starring in Trillion Game . I was sold once I knew Imada Mio was going to join the cast together with Meguro and Sano. I've been shipping Ren and Mio since "As Long As We Both Shall Live" and I'm shipping them even more now after concluding "Trillion Game". Their chemistry is simply awesome!
Meguro Ren has a period movie with Imada Mio (who plays Kirika) titled "As Long As We Both Shall Live". Very different story (it's a period movie, after all) and very different characters for both of them. Watch it if you're curious about their acting range.
Can I watch this without having watched the anime? I'm not a huge anime fan, but I usually love their live action…
I think it depends. Based on comments I've been reading so far, some can understand the story without watching the anime while some others did get a bit confused.
Light novel is just a novel that could be kinda like YA fiction, usually not that thick (My Happy Marriage volume 1 has about 150 pages) and it's easy reading.
Manga is the comic book. However the original work is the light novel. I'm only at chapter 2 of the LN right now so I'm not sure how it's described there.
Koji is Kaya's fiance (the one who informed Kudo about the kidnapping)
I'm confused.. the movie came out before the anime.. isn't it the other way around?
Not necessarily especially in this case because the movie is not based on the anime. Both the movie and the anime are based on the light novel (the original work) and the manga of the same title "Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon".
The movie and the anime were in production at around the same time in 2022, iirc.
ETA : Interestingly, Meguro and Imada's other work together "Trillion Game" also has the live action out first. The anime adaptation for "Trillion Game" was only announced when the live action finished airing on Japan TV.
Wait a min lol this came out in March so why is this trending now after so many months 😂😂 I thought this…
It came out at Japan cinemas in March and only made its way to certain places like films festivals in Canada and limited releases in Taiwan and Thailand. Not sure why the distributors did not seem inclined to release it worldwide.
It's trending now ? Probably because the DVD and Bluray were released at the end of last month (without subs though) which made it accessible online.

Manga is basically comic / graphic novel.
