Yun So fell off big time. He went from being my one pick in ep 1 to my most disliked contestant by ep 3, and ep 4 just solidified that. I let out a sigh every time he comes on my screen. He has no awareness of his surroundings or consideration on how the other person might feel because of his actions and keeps acting selfishly. He should've toned things down when Ju Hee mentioned she wanted to explore more instead of clinging even harder. He really has that effect of making you super uncomfortable and wanting to leave the room immediately when he enters. Free Ju Hee oml, the poor girl looks like she's been snared.
Anyhow, Si Won omg???? I got to see a new side to him today. I already liked his even temperament & calm nature, but after seeing his charm in the game, I'm wooed. He also seems to be very easy-going and positive. Judging by his former athlete background, he has a strong mentality too. He's a catch for sure .💗

I'm sorry, I'm usually not a hater & appreciate every person as they come but Jin Young (the woman catfish) speaks in such an annoying manner 😭 The forced high pitch + nasal aegyo tone is too grating on my ears, & she also somehow manages to roll the vowels at the back of her throat instead of placing them forward like you normally would. I just can't get past it 😭 That aside, her date with Jun Han really did make me feel fluttery, it was really nice to see her show off her noona charm.
This show has such a high rewatch value imo. It's mostly character driven & the actors do such a wonderful job bringing their roles to life. The banter, the chemistry, the depth, the lore, the layers to the story, and the way the whole cast plays off of each other & makes each scene engaging oof. A romcom for the ages.
Definitely about to become one of my favorite shows ever.
One thing I love about this show so much is that they don't let the misunderstandings dwell for long. They move through each situation at a good pace and give it the due attention it deserves without slowing down too much. As they say, a flowing stream keeps the water from getting murky. That's why each episode is fresh & engaging & doesn't feel draggy.
Also that confession & kiss ughhhhhh 😩✨ Cha Se Gye is one of the few MLs in Kdramaland that I've seen be in touch with his emotions & actually being rational about them instead of letting the misunderstanding cause a drift between the couple. He actually addressed the issue head on & laid himself bare. Vulnerable for Shin Seo ri to see. You just know that's a man written by a woman 😌💗
My guesses for their ages: Yun So looks to be about 18-20 in that picture imo so I'm guessing he's 24 to 26 years old. Ju Hee seems to be 16-17 in her picture so that'd make her 36-37 now.
Yun So just dropped in favor for me after that first date... He's being way too anxious and instead of trying to find out more about Ju Hee and having an actual conversation, he keeps grilling her on who her other interests are among the cast and the conversation she had with Jin Woo yesterday. Like bro, let her enjoy the date & actually show your appeal and what you have to offer as a potential partner to keep her interested instead of acting like an obsessive person 😭 I just get the feeling that he'd be a lot to deal with in a relationship, always insecure and suspicious. Not my vibe at all.

Cha Segye is undeniably charismatic but I remember in the first 2 episodes, I couldn't help but think that his hairstyle was doing him a huge disservice. The open space of his forehead does not compliment his eyes & his face looks imbalanced. I remember wondering whether he had gotten his eyelashes trimmed or something lol since the hairs were so fine & the hairstyle brought a lot of attention to that area. But Nam Jun's hair down looks really good on him, hope they modify his hairstyle to that.
My one pick this season so far for the girls is Yu Jin. She seems really bubbly & I quite like her <3 For guys, I think I really like Yun So, he seems sweet & thoughtful.

Imo, love is more about perseverance and choosing to make that effort to continue to stay with the person you love in trying times & even when you have disagreements and something that I felt with this couple was that there was definitely attraction & chemistry, they compliment eo so well, but they seem to lack the will to fight to stay together. A contributor to that could be their big age gap which makes them unusually more considerate of the other person & also wary of public perception. Hope they're both doing well now & find someone they cherish <3
