I have to say this is one of my favorite dramas. While the basic plot line of the story has been done many times before (girl poses as a guy) Coffee Prince executed it in a new and refreshing way. The acting was WONDERFUL, I seriously began to believe that this was a real story and not just a drama. The actors were great and gave really good reactions to the situation even if they weren't the main characters in the scene (which doesn't happen a lot in other dramas). The music was interesting and they didn't play the same five songs over and over again, they kept in new and fresh while still keeping a couple ones that you'll be able to recognize. I have to say though that my favorite part of the whole drama was the lack of angst. Angst is one of my biggest issues in dramas, and while a little bit is good for a story I keep seeing dramas overuse it so much i just wanna punch the screen/stop watching. An example of this would be Issues/Misunderstandings the characters have with one another. In any other drama while being accused of doing something they did not do, a character would just stand there and take it and NOT explain the truth or their side of the story which would solve everything. BUT in Coffee Prince all the characters are adults who aren't immature and impulsive. they make decisions based on rational thought rather than their fleeting emotions. if they have a problem with someone, they confront that person to try and solve their disputes rather than wasting 4 episodes beating around the bush just to clear up one measly misunderstanding. Once again the acting was just top notch, super believable with scenes that seemed real and flowed as if they were actually happening. Only one or two scenes in the whole drama seemed a tad bit forced (but maybe i'm just being picky) The lead male character is just to die for and does the best acting out of all of them. You just wanna open your heart to him cause he is hard not to love
