It's sort of understandable that Luo Mei's face is expressionless considering she's a general, but the Crown Prince MXL's face bothers me. Whatever state he's in he seem to always have this distasteful unpleasant looking face on him. When other actors act they either do it tastefully, or simply straightforwardly, but the way he does his just look ugly to me. I don't know what it is about that actor. Also he's supposedly in love with Luo Mei, but even when he's constantly professing his love to her I'm like, really? In no way do I believe that. There's no love to see or feel in that expression of his. I'm guessing Luo Mei doesn't feel it either. 🤪 Hopefully she doesn't get swayed by all the things he's done for her, otherwise MJH will lose a potential ally in the future.

Damn, YQ is going over to the other side and leaving his good guy image. I'm not liking his plans of Mei Lin.

This is an interesting oddball of a drama. And its tagline should be the word "because". Because, I have never noticed anywhere else where that one single word is specifically said so often by all the characters.

Turned out pretty good. I've no knowledge of its other previous stories, but this is quite engaging to watch

By the end of ep 3 I'm thinking it's tough being the Dad. Poor guy.

Oh thanks! Searching his profile I realized I remember him from the drama Partners for Justice in 2019. He was very memorable there, because I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've seen him :D

Who's the androgenous looking actor playing the street singer Hong stopped to listen to in ep 5? He's very familiar like I've seen him in a psychological murder mystery drama somewhere, but I can't place him. 😅

Gosh the start of ep 10 was the funniest 😂

I find baring all in the beginning rather interesting 😄. Makes me curious what other mysteries will be unfolded later on.

I always watch at 2x speed. But even then I find myself questioning if i really was watching at twice speed. It felt too much like normal speed. I wanted there to be a 4x speed button for that ep. Lol.

the psychopathic murderer ever since she was a kid. Compared to the innocent but suspected daughter character, that would make a much better story imo. LOL. Because realistically, wouldn't getting involved in 2 serious murder cases in a lifetime be too much of a coincidence if she really has nothing to do with it? She's definitely got the meticulous smarts to commit the crime, pretend she's a normal girl, and cover up by shifting blame towards the Dad.

Lols. I think this will be a much satisfying story if the daughter really is

Super curious about how FL will find out about her birth secret, and also, if I'm not mistaken it was said that her Mom was taken away by bandits before being found again to be pregnant. Which suggests that FL is born from a rape victim, and her dad was one of the bandits? I wonder how she'll deal with this shock. I know nothing of the story in the book, so if I'm wrong please do tell.

Really curious about 2 things: 1. FL's backstory (memory loss?) a and how her relationship will end with Lu Jia Xue in the future. And 2:
