I'm starting episode 8. Up to now I can't stand this InHa brat at all. She's infuriating with the way she talks, her pitch, her poses, and most of all those psycho eyes she has. (⊙︿⊙) And I also hate the very low self esteem Seol has. I hope she changes a bit and starts standing up for herself.
OMG, I can't believe how awful this drama is. >.< The story was ok, but the editing and the overall production was a disaster. It looks so cheap that even the supposedly "rich" characters look so low cost and tasteless. Just to exemplify: the ML's mother seems to wear the same outfit in every other scene and his father's suits are a size smaller and always wrinkled! ! Don't let me go with his "ex"...
Imo, most of the supporting characters act like if this was a high school art class project. I don't think the acting skills of the ML actor deserve a main character. But I like the FL actress a lot. I've seen her in other dramas and she's really good.
Despite all of this, I really liked Nian Nian's story and I wanted to see how it ended, so I fast forwarded many scenes. The nail in the coffin was the unnecessary "memory loss" of the ML two episodes before the ending. ◔_◔
Hadn't the FL suffered enough so she had to endure an arrogant as**ole of a ML again?? And then in the last two minutes he regains his memories and we get the proverbial rushed ending. For me, this drama is an absolute fail... (¬_¬)
Oh my lord... Several hours ago I finished this drama and my heart is still aching. .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. Since "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" I have not cried that much. Definitely it's an ill fated romance and pure suffering for each and every character. I think the leads deserved better and hate that in every chance they had to escape and be free and happy, Wan Mei had to sacrifice their love for others, even for foes and strangers. That made me really angry. I didn't like the ending but as they say hope is the last to die, so I will keep thinking that she someday will found out the real meaning of the words in the fan and they will reunite and be together forever. I loved Chang An and his great and devoted feelings for WM. I have to say that the actor's voice was so beautiful, soft and calm but at the same time so male. And last but not least, the best of this drama is the OST, particulary Tia Ray's song. I liked it so much before seeing the drama but now I know I will cry every time I hear it. There's a version of the song with Shaw Qu (Chang An) that is really beautiful... ❤♡❤
I dropped this, it was a dissapointment! I couldn't stand the FL with all her childishness, clingyness and foolishness. (>﹏<) And how about the cliche about two handsome, experienced and intelligent doctors falling in love with this clumsy character? Come on!! This is worst than Kotoko and Naoki by far!! It's a shame because Takeru Sato is so worth seeing... ♡μ_μ
YW's backstory broke what's left of my poor heart.. imagine having a "mother" who was not only HAPPY that you…
I absolutely agree with you!! I don't know why so many people think the is creepy or lame... He really loves AJ and HN and is trying to take care of them...
I can't believe I'm saying this, but we need MORE episodes!! Two more will not be enough to explain and make things right. I truly hope there is a happy ending!!
ok im sorry... but how did it take 14 episodes for the main leads to get together. It is a ROM-com! the romance…
In my opinion, YJ is a horrible person since episode 1, when we learn she has a boyfriend of three years that her mother is not aware of. Was she ashamed of him? It seems so, because she didn't stand up for him in front of her mother. In fact, they are both cut by the same scissors. What did YJ do when she found out about the humiliation of DH's parents by her mother. Nothing! The worst was that she hadn't ended things with DH before she was kissing with JSJ and making plans with him. All of this only shows how horrible she was from the beginning.
I forgot to add in my first comment another annoying thing about many k-dramas (and c-dramas and j-dramas, too). In almost every drama (except the ones on Netflix) there are NO subs for texts, like in the cover of a book, or a note left for a character to see. You are left to deduce or guess what was written there, but sometimes it is not possible and you are left with a big question mark... ಠ~ಠ
And what about the scene where the leads stare into each other's eyes like forever, and then keep uncomfortably staring for several more minutes not minding anything or anyone around them... It's sooooo annoying!!
I have a theory: there is a checklist of these pet peeves that a writer has to include in his/her drama for it to be considered a REAL k-drama... {*rolling eyes*}
OMG no!! What cliche comes now?? A memory loss of the ML and the dreadful ex-gf imposing over the FL and telling him she is his love?? This is so so so bad!!! ಠ▃ಠ
What I hate the most in this drama is the nosy, intrusive, busybody mothers!!! I can't stand the little respect they have for their daughter's decisions... (⋟﹏⋞)
