I was afraid to watch this because I am not a melodrama fan, but it kept getting recommended to me. I'm glad I eventually gave in. Although there is a lot of drama, the main leads always seem real and I never felt that the twists in the story were just for shock value. I really recommend this show. I admit I could have done without a few of the story elements, one in particular, but there is nothing that ruined my enjoyment overall.
