I don't think you guys should pay that user any more mind (referring especially to the latest topic discussions).
I understand all too well where you are coming from, for their behaviour is upsetting and annoying - and also slightly concerning -, but by interacting with them in any way, even just by calling them out and telling them to quit it, you are still giving them attention and fuel to the fire.
At this point it is quite clear you just can't reason with them and they'll take whatever you give them to twist it into their own narrative and way of viewing things, making you the toxic one, so just... ignore it. Completely ignore it. Let them talk to the wall and give them zero response.
I fail to understand what they are gaining from acting this way, but that's their business and a person with at least a bit of common sense can clearly see who's acting with hatred and toxicity and who's here to genuinely support a work and cast they appreciate (comments are here to see, and so are topic discussions and reviews).
I've been on this page for a while, now, and, before that one user came into play, I've only ever seen people sharing opinions and discussing disagreements and plot holes in a polite and mature way, never bringing down another person's point of view or blocking them simply for not seeing things or loving a character the same way.
It really felt like a safe space for both old and new viewers of this drama and I would love for this page to go back to that.
I tried to stay out of it until now, but it's starting to ruin my experience and, I believe, the one of many others.

As they already told you, you shouldn't force it if you are struggling to watch it.
When I'm unsure, I usually give a drama ten episodes and that sort of helps me understand whether it'll end up hooking me or not, but watching a drama shouldn't start to feel like a duty, so if it still doesn't do it for you after your x point, put it on hold or just drop it altogether.
If you prefer plot driven dramas or dramas with a strong writing/storyline, FoF won't be your cup of tea.

Maybe it's settling down and getting closer to the actual average of all ratings, old and new? Just my guess, I have no idea how this works nor how reliable that number actually is.

Probably the coolest archer in c-dramas.
I wish they showed more of her, especially in the earlier episodes, because at times she felt more like a guest role and her character is just so cool and iconic.

I'll never understand this sort of behaviour, nor why they are so adamant in camping in this page, if they hate this drama and the ML so much.
Why stay and spread useless hate, when you can so easily leave the thing you don't like and go share love and support for a drama and/or cast you love? It's a waste of their own time and it's ruining a safe space for others, be them fans or new viewers.

Yeah, I was blocked too. Never shared a single word with them nor taken part even once in this drama, but I fell in their blocking net all the same. Tragic.

But I don't understand why they're trying so hard to ruin this page?
Like, the very first comments they posted had some truth to them (everyone has the right to share their opinion and like/dislike something, regardless of how popular and beloved it is) and their behaviour wasn't so unhinged and hypocritical, but now it's honestly getting ridiculous.
I mean, they are the one acting in a toxic way, spamming their opinion to silence others' and being hateful and disrespectful, blocking and calling out whoever disagrees with them.
They are fighting a war that isn't even there and behaving like the very person they are advising others to keep away from.

I knew you could do that, but personally I always keep the same rating for both the review and "my rating" list, since it doesn't make much sense to give two ratings to a show/movie.

I don't remember the exact episode number, but he did fall prisoner of Ran Yi's dream power and the scene with Zhu Yan was part of that dream/nightmare

This has been going on for some time, now. More than it's needed, actually.
I was expecting all this useless drama to drop in a couple of days, but alas.

This comment section has its ups and downs, but for the most part lovely and friendly people are still camping there and I love reading their takes, discussions and headcanons on the story, so it's always nice checking on this page

Ah, in that sense. No, in my discussion I focused on the meaning of colours and whether each character's distinctive colour palette had any connection with said meanings.

To be honest, I also wished they would have showed us more of Bai Jiu and Zhao Yuan Zhou. Given their first interactions and how ZYZ both annoyed and tried to impress the other (and with what we later find out about Bai Jiu), they had so much potential to work with.
We got something similar with Ying Lei, at least, but I really wish they didn't leave it hanging like that.
