I really enjoyed the show and I feel that its the kind of show that makes a lot more sense on a second viewing.…
Hmm yes it does make sense that her memories were locked and Yeong and Lee Gon's memories stayed intact because they traveled back in time to fix the things.
Yoy boy tho, he was seen in flashbacks to be an adult, when Tae Eul pretended to be a beauty in front of the window while reading a book and all. He was seen as an adult, so I don't think he was stuck in a little boy's body but that he can choose it and he chose to be a boy most of the times because it would lower people's defense mechanism.
1. he was killed after killing the king and the whole treason thing2. I don't think she's useless. I already guessed…
2. Yers i do agree witch that she could have been a much more rounded character but she wasn't as useless as a lot of other female leads in other dramas where they're just there to be pretty and a damsel in distress. I really liked the fact that she was so real and flawed. She acted like how I expected someone to act that did police work. And people are still humaine, this drama isn't perfect but neither are people. The imprssion is bad that she accepted the flirting after knowing he's rich but in real life, that also happens. Tho this is fantasy drama, I liekd how humane and flaxed people are in this drama, it gives a more realistic potrayal of how people in the real world can be and react to things.
4. Yeah I'm not completely sure as to why only they have the memories but maybe its because they traveled back in time and Tae Eul wass tuck in the interdimensional space which made her imune to the change.
We don't know if that Buyeong is the real Buyeong and in which time period? So maybe it's during a time when Lee Gon isn't adult yet or maybe it's during a time when Lee Gon should be somewhere and he (as the timetraveler) shouldn't be seen by this uncle of his.
For me it wasn't that bad as other people said. You have to have patience as the buildup is slower than other…
even fi it's magix, this is a fantasy drama, if people didn't like this genre, then they shouldn't have started it. There's enver proper logic when it's a fantasy genred drama. I didn't think the storytelling was that bad
I've read a couple of comments. And I crafted some theories. And then I have a bunch of questions (some of them…
1. he was killed after killing the king and the whole treason thing
2. I don't think she's useless. I already guessed it was Lee Gon himself that saved the younger version of him. There's no reason for Tae Eul to be the person that saved the little boy. She does not do all the important action stuff like the shootnig and the saving and whatever but she did investigate a lot of things and even killed Lee Rim in the interdimensional space. She's not useless like a lot of other female leads in other dramas.
3. Yeah it's a new memory, he got killed by his past self but as time kept flowing, he did the same msitakes so the memories will be the same I think.
4. What do you mean with two Tae Euls? It's the same dimension/world but a different timeline. Lee Gon is in the past and showed himself to the younger Tae Eul. The younger Tae Eul hence has memories the older one originally didn't possess. So in the future, she gets these new memories. Because of the change, like Tae Eul said in the drama, things in the timeline changed, like many things went quicker than before. For example her believing faster, traveling to kingdom of Corea faster and also getting into that kidnap situation faster than it originally did. The boy with the Jojo is indeed not explained well enough. Tho it's so vague like for example Goblin did with the deity stuff too. I think the boy is either the human form of the flute or he's kind of like a deity that has powers over the flute. He stood out of the story actually and hinted or helped here and there to try and save the messed up fates and the cracks between the dimensions. He asked (while in that tunnel) if he should fix it or not and I think he didn't because otherwise the door would be closed forever and there would be no possibility to travel like the couple did in the end.
5. it isn't explained in the drama but I think there was a reason for him to use that person for threatening later. He also admitted that it was one of his mistakes in one of the later episodes.
Gosh! I can't even watch this after reading the comments and reviews. Is this series that bad?
For me it wasn't that bad as other people said. You have to have patience as the buildup is slower than other kdramas but in the end it did feel very nice for me! This drama does require the watchers to keep notice of every detail and actually think of the plot, it isn't something you can watch after a tiring day of work and when you want to relax. Yo ened to concentrate on it. But I enjoyed it even tho the product placements did get on my nerves xD
It's not as bad as some people think it is. This plot is just more complicated than others and you have to pay attention to watch it. I actually really like such complicated storylines and dramas and especially if it's with one of my fav genre: the time/spacetravel genre! There are a few questions unanswered though. - I don't quite understand the lightening: is it because they killed their counterparts? - Why do the couple and Yeong only remember but Eun sub not? For Tae Eul I thought it was because she was in the interdimension place when timeline changed but doesn't make sense for Yeong to still understand it though? Someone knows? - The kid/adult with the Jojo. I wished there was more explanation about hil. From what I understood, he's like the personfication of the flute, right? Or some kind of deity that has control over fates.
The later episodes were very interesting and fun to wach! It could be seen that the first half of the drama was the buildup and going towards the big explosion of everything happening. As someone who watched cdrama, this isn't that bad. I'm quite used to slowly building up plotlines. This one was done well and I actually quite liked it! Loved the ending part where they kept travelling around as a trip ~
the problem with this drama is, it gets bored when the leads are finally together. i struggled to finish ep 18…
this is a light drama and the pacing is very good. If you easily give up on later episodes, it's best to try and find a drama with more things happening together to keep you interested. Maybe some drama with a more slow burn for the couple since you say it's when they get together? Or maybe find something that really never stops throwing things at your face.
same like me. i don't like character of Han Che . he know he was wrong. but he always thinks he is doing the right…
he did admit he was wrong, he was planning to apologize to her but then she misunderstood him apologizing for throwing her out of the house instead of this entire chaotic misunderstanding so it kept dragging on. And it's not perfect, he's human after all and I can understand that. From this drama I could see that tho they're characters in a drama, they are still humane and aren't perfect, doing whatever someone wished he or she would. You could see the bad and good points of a person, just like in reality.
I really liked this story, even the 'bad guys' I kinda liked in the end because of their development! The chemistry is very good and loved how many kissing scenes there were in the drama :D And it was actually action from both sides (mostly) and it didn't feel awkward but very natural! Also liked Eleanor's real potrayal, all her expressions and reactions are so real. I liked her since her Big Boss days and she has grown a lot as an actress! :D Loevd the supporting cast as well and the moral story they wanted to give with this plot! :D Never give up and have passion!
I saw photos around on the internet with this couple but with different hairstyles. Does someone know if ti's from an MV or from a photoshoot or something? It's not the one from the special episode since Ryan Ding still has short hair but in a different hairstyle and the actress has a bit shorter hair. There's also her in a white dress with a veil on and male lead is wearing white shirt with black tie and doctor robe, can someone help me? Thank you!
Really liked it but felt that dr Zhou was out of character a bit in this special haha he's way less cold and aloof and much more open XD Really liked how they used their own voices in this drama ~
I think in dramaland, there aren't that many yet where the main lead transmigrates into a villian or cannon fodder…
omg yes that would be awesome! but since real timetravelling is still technically banned, I just hope they cna find another spin of it like this one where it's a script she ends up in or like in to get her where it's a game
For me costume drama from chinese drama is the best while modern drama is from korean drama.
I prefer costume drama as the plot can be more creative, especially if combined with other genres. But as you said, costume dramas are more difficult of more complicate to understand. Definitely recommend you to start with costume dramas like this one, where it's a short webdrama that is much more light and fluffy. It can ease the way into the more heavy stuff xD
Couldn't get enough of the romance of tiger and rose so i've tried searching something similar to this, and "to…
I think in dramaland, there aren't that many yet where the main lead transmigrates into a villian or cannon fodder but there are loads of Chinese (online) novels that have this transmigration genre (for example: Doomed to be a Cannon Fodder). Would recommend you to try them out. Also hope that they will be filmed since stories like these makes it so interesting!
This is actually part of S1 but it was split in two parts. But they're planning to make a new season and the pink photos are from this new season, they should make a new page tho
I'm actually enjoying this drama too. Also, it isn't even confusing where they keep on going back and forth between…
I don't have twitter but thanks for letting me know! :D
yess, love fantasy genre a lot too! I switched to reading Chinese online novels because I can't find English translated Chinese books in book form, otherwise my bookcase would be filled with difficult and complicated books xD That's why I' also a very big fan of the shows: Crime scene (Korean and Chinese version), The Genius, Big Escape (Cshow) and such. It makes me use my brain. And after getting to your own theory and then having the ending it really feels awesome if you're right but also soo refreshing if you're completely wrong :P
