I'm actually enjoying this drama too. Also, it isn't even confusing where they keep on going back and forth between…
yeah indeed, for me it isn't confusing at all, but I can understand that a group of people find it confusing because it asks you to pay more attention than other dramas. But I like it, yes I enjoy dramas where I can just watch it without thinking too much and without using my brain too much but I also love more complicated dramas where you just have to keep your attention on point. Haha indeed, everyone that has seen cdrama will think this is already pretty fast paced xD I have seen dramas wer eI barely got anywhere after 10-20 episodes and it only picks up from there.
I'm still happy that there are other people enjoying this drama, I just read so many negative comments on here that I thought that I was weird for thinking otherwise. Maybe it's also ebcause I have seen dozens of transmigration drama and read just as much online novels so for me this really isn't that 'boring' to watch.
Just out of curiosity, what was the other drama you referred to here?
It's a series of old Twn drama :) It's the Ko Series and during certains seasons, they switch between dimensions as the theory behind that drama is that there are 12 dimensions (If I remember right) and certain people or through certain methods, you can cross the dimensions :) It's pretty old and has many seasons, the older ones are still the best and most funny and interesting but it's an twn drama so the quality and all can't be compared to kdrama or cdrama. So if you'er planning to watch, I'm warning you already xD
tesh, but the voeral feeling is different, youth with you seems more relaxed for me, it has always been more relaxed…
yes indeed, produce 101/ Produce camp has more competition/battles whi imo really stresses people out even more. I never liked it, the battles they did for an A during the auditions. Okay, it makes certain trainees shine, but it keeps the audition part too draggy. But I'm still looking forward to watch it, there are a few trainees I'm interested in and jsut the fact that 3 previous SM artists are together...! :D
I belong to the group that actually likes this drama. I get the things why people don't it, it doesn't work for everyone, this isn't a drama that is an instant like for a broader public. Persnoally, I really like stories based on space and time travelling and transmigration genre. So this drama's theme is totally my cup of tea. It's a slow start but I'm used of slow starts from Chinese dramas so it doens't bother me. Each scene that is shown, I'm trying to remember them because as the stroy develops, it'll make sense! I actually like the parallels and how it makes you think. It isnt a drama that you can simply enjoy. It makes you think and makes you want to link things together to try and make a sensable theory behind the plot. I have no problems at all distinguishing between the two worlds and I like both. The 'romance' isn't even taking the first seat for me, the suspense and wanting answers in discovering what's making the two worlds seperate and the theory behind it is making me keep watching it. There was this drama from years ago and they also changed between dimensions and I never had problems with that either because you do get the notification on screen in which dimension/world you are, just like this drama. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like how 'complicated' the drama is, it's not a light comedy or anything, no it makes me think. I hope people can give this a chance, the high hopes makes people get disappointed too quickly I think :)
They literary just put Japan plot to dress Lee Min Ho in navy dress...otherwise this event has nothing to do with…
great chance to see him in military outfit but I do think it's got to do with the plot. After all, he lives in Kingdom of Corea. Where there hasn't been a war to split the country but Japan is still trying to do politcal stuff. It's politics. Though history has been different from a specific king and the worlds went their own ways with history, you can't take away the frictions between the countries. a war with japan might got delayed in Lee Gon's world but it might still happen. It conents well with the politcal aspect of the story
I watch most shows and dramas on olevod but if you need eng subs there isnt any on this website, so if you want…
Oh I can watch without subs but I'm planning to watch it together with someone that doesn't understand chinese, so was really hoping that tencent would upload it on their official youtube channel or subchannel. Thanks for the link tho! I can check that myself out ^^
Wow May 2?? There's going to be competition between Youth With You and Produce Camp now...
tesh, but the voeral feeling is different, youth with you seems more relaxed for me, it has always been more relaxed than p101 china and produce camp 1
I think Season 3's ending is really up to your own interpretation. The most straightforward explanation would…
oooh Tangren bought the rights? :O I thinkk if they do make the fourth intallment then they would try to get all the cast members back, though maybe from this season and not the previous 2 seasons. Bai Liuli really is an interesting character, w
Romance is throwing me off because there is no foundation. Did he really fall in love with her even though he…
it isn't the fall in love, let's date and then develop further kind of relationship in this story. Lee Gon has always seen her as the person who saved him as a kid so the love grew from there. As for the female lead, she didn't fall in love, she just felt a bit sad and missed him, that's a normal kind of reaction when Lee Gon was like always by her side or in a way related to her, like the phone calling, the horse in her front yard, suddenly appearing out of nowhere and such. It's psychology. Like how you always give someone a cup of coffee but then you stop doing it, that person will miss it and find it weird, think that something is missing because of getting used to it. There isn't any real love now, it is a crush or maybe even a kind of obsession on Lee Gon's part for now. Not all love stories start like the cliche ones. I like this take on getting to know each other beside the prejudice and initial thought you have of that person. Lee Gon really learns more about her and he offers his entire life to her because he believes she was the one who saved him, so giving her the position of the queen isn't much. Now that they are in the kingdom of Corea, all the thoughts of the other one being crazy nuts for saying he's from a parallel universe in now gone so a more 'normal and natural' development can take place
I am liking this show and will keep watching but I have to say i'm having some difficulty following the story…
dont worry too much about it, keep remembering them, it'll make sense as we get deeper into the story how those now irrelevant or sudden scenes will complete the story itself
There are two verions right? The one that was aired and then one where the cuts can be found in? Does someone know where I can watch the complete version, with the directors cut and everything? Thank you!!
I think Season 3's ending is really up to your own interpretation. The most straightforward explanation would…
Hmmm, it could be possible that the two merged together again! I didn't think about that and completely forgot that they actually are supposed to be 1. If the red cloak was a fan service, we did get a spoiler when Xuan Hu went out to suck out life energy, we had this 1 second of YQL appearing in a flash, along with the usual sounds and laughing, so I really wonder if the production team kept this open to able to use it in the future.
Im sure they are using her since indeed she's one of the few actors/actresses that comes back to film in this series. It just makes it possible for so many possibilities in the theories xD
WX would have no idea, but isn't Bai Liu Li always near him? Taking care of his stuff and kepeing him up to date? He personally decided to not tell WX about Yue Ya and his time with her in case he would be too hurt. He also recognized XDM's outer appearance as YQL. A plot hole here is that he couldn't forget Xuan Hu and Qing Luan though.
I read somewhere in the comments below that this is based on the second book of this series? Even if it's an original story, it does explain a lot of questions, but opened even more for us to think about as well xD
Its too sad about the restrictions! Would also love to see it in a modern setting, everyone would think he's a crazy person if he keeps acting as a fashi xD
Finished the entire season 3 but I'm left with a few questions. 1. We can obviouly see that Wu Xin has his fate tied to Liu Qing Luan as she (the face?) comes back in season 2 and also in season 1. We know about the link between her in season 1 and 2, so I wonder if this indrectly tells us that Yue Qi Luo is a descendant of Xuan Hu? Because in season 3 there were snippets of her, especially with the red cloak! And fact that Xuan Hu's spirit is red colored and even the sounds used are also in season 1. So will we ever know the entire story behind this?
2. Bai Liu Li was a snake demon wasn't he? Why is it said in this season that he's half human half fox demon? Or did I understand it wrong? Though it is explained now why Bai Liu Li is the one keeping Wu Xin up to date after his sleeps and memory losses.
3. If seen like this, Yue Ya of season 1 was important to Wu Xin but imo just one of his many loved ones in time, unlike Liu Qing Luan who seems to be the most important one? As seems like this face keeps appearing in his life. From season 1 to this season, we have seen this face multiple times, under different characters though. We have yue Qi Luo wiht her red cloak and paper dolls, we have the tree spirit in season 2 (male), we have the twins in this season + a female with red cloak at the end of this season. This is at least 5 times! With a lot of time between Tang dynasty and the republic era, it could be that Wu Xin met her even a few more times, its a possibility, what do you guys think?
