Hmmm, it could be possible that the two merged together again! I didn't think about that and completely forgot that they actually are supposed to be 1. If the red cloak was a fan service, we did get a spoiler when Xuan Hu went out to suck out life energy, we had this 1 second of YQL appearing in a flash, along with the usual sounds and laughing, so I really wonder if the production team kept this open to able to use it in the future.
Im sure they are using her since indeed she's one of the few actors/actresses that comes back to film in this series. It just makes it possible for so many possibilities in the theories xD
WX would have no idea, but isn't Bai Liu Li always near him? Taking care of his stuff and kepeing him up to date? He personally decided to not tell WX about Yue Ya and his time with her in case he would be too hurt. He also recognized XDM's outer appearance as YQL. A plot hole here is that he couldn't forget Xuan Hu and Qing Luan though.
I read somewhere in the comments below that this is based on the second book of this series? Even if it's an original story, it does explain a lot of questions, but opened even more for us to think about as well xD

Finished the entire season 3 but I'm left with a few questions. 1. We can obviouly see that Wu Xin has his fate tied to Liu Qing Luan as she (the face?) comes back in season 2 and also in season 1. We know about the link between her in season 1 and 2, so I wonder if this indrectly tells us that Yue Qi Luo is a descendant of Xuan Hu? Because in season 3 there were snippets of her, especially with the red cloak! And fact that Xuan Hu's spirit is red colored and even the sounds used are also in season 1. So will we ever know the entire story behind this?
2. Bai Liu Li was a snake demon wasn't he? Why is it said in this season that he's half human half fox demon? Or did I understand it wrong? Though it is explained now why Bai Liu Li is the one keeping Wu Xin up to date after his sleeps and memory losses.
3. If seen like this, Yue Ya of season 1 was important to Wu Xin but imo just one of his many loved ones in time, unlike Liu Qing Luan who seems to be the most important one? As seems like this face keeps appearing in his life. From season 1 to this season, we have seen this face multiple times, under different characters though. We have yue Qi Luo wiht her red cloak and paper dolls, we have the tree spirit in season 2 (male), we have the twins in this season + a female with red cloak at the end of this season. This is at least 5 times! With a lot of time between Tang dynasty and the republic era, it could be that Wu Xin met her even a few more times, its a possibility, what do you guys think?
This story has made my heart feel so warm and make me believe that there are truely still very good people on this planet. It really warmed my heat that even tho in those circumstances, Seri didn't give up and accepted that she had to give up on her usual luxury lifestyle to fit in and just to survive. but she made friends there and didn't forget them, even making a spring limited edition line with the friends (the housewives) she made in the military village. I almost sobbed ebcause the name of that line also means longing, feeling nostalgic. She really is longing to see them again and had seen those women as her friends and wish to meet them again. It really means soooo much! this drama really showed that though Seri had negative thoughts and was emotional during times, she was still very thankful too all the help she got from people. This was especially seen betwene her and the women and her and the soldiers. Though quarreling with one of the soldiers, their relationship was really like siblings, fighting but still very caring to each other. I also love the fact that the male lead wasn't an annoying character, but a person who was warm, gentle but strong when needed. He wasn't a jerk or doing stupid things to ask for attention, his character really hit me. He had been nothing but gentle to his fellow soldiers and to the those he loves.
Didn't he move to Switzerland to be a pianist? He gave up his house to the new captain (Pyo Chi Su) at the dinner…
No I think he joined some kind of musician group and use this chance to travel to Switzerland. Because he has no other groudned reason to leave his country unlike Seri who has more freedom to choose where to go. I also think the house is bought by her

nope, guess the actor himself wasn't in good conditions himself when filming this drama... he looked so much better and healthier in The Love by Hypnotic!
I actually really liked this drama. It uses all the cliche tropes and I don't find it bad since this is a game experience, the female elad herself even ridicules some plotlines and character designs. I really fell for the male lead though. I didn't had any second lead syndryme at all because the actor played the male lead so well, I totally felt for his heartfelt expressions and those puppy eyes, so lovely! I really like Jiang xuanyu's character though, his personality is just so nice and really what a friend could wish for. There are sooo many plotholes left that I wish could be answered with a season 2. Dunno if there is a chance to have it though, I think the producers left it open so that there could be a possible season 2 if season 1 did well enough. I'm probably gonna watch more dramas with the male lead actor, I really fell in love with his potrayal of Wumei!
I have to disagree with that. He has grown so much as ana ctor that I was really convinced his charactres where different people. I could directly see which character he was potraying. It's so soft and not raw in emotions because their love is much more soft and innocent like than Bai Qian and Ye Hua for example. It's those soft kisses and touches that makes it all so loveable imo :) It shows how precious Fengjiu was to Donghua and showed a more soft love since their age gap is huuuge :P

yeah i knew about the story for Mo Yuan, Bodhi's fate or something, right? When I read Pillow Book right after Eternal Love, I already found out but back then it was put on hold by the author. Didn't know that they chapters are out tho? Since I can't find anything at all! :O Maybe there is no english translations yet?
if reading the plot probably not? MOFTA was based on augmented reality while this is probably like other Chinese game based stories, dragged into a virtual world :)
recommended but keep in mind that the story in Eternal Love is not canon to the book as at that time they didn't had the rights of the pillow book. So the story tho has similarities it's not going like this one. By watching that drama though can help a lot understand the characters in pillow book and makes you anticipate the things happening in this drama
