i kinda wish to see him in drama with song joongki since both are good actors and they are close friend irl or…
If you want to see how "close friends" work in a drama, look no further than King the Land, agencies said Yoona and Junho are "close friends" HAHA. JK.
She's improved so much since K2. I didn't like the character nor the acting in K2. But I'm liking her in King the Land, will check out Big Mouth soon, since I was reluctant to before.
We will get another rom com moment where he assumes she wants to break up again like in ep13. I think she meant she wants to 'call it quits' with the job, 'done' with the job and wants to 'leave', meaning King Hotel.
I had this in my dropped list for about a year. Dropped at episode 2. Anyways - I've been liking slice-of-life dramas lately. And I ended up starting this again. So glad I did, because I loved it. It was so wholesome. At times, I found the FL to be cringey/childish when she finally gets with the ML, I think it was deliberate to show how much the town has changed her for the better and how she's not a cold person etc. But other than that I loved the show! Would recc anyone to watch this!
I know right, they are very rare in kdramas and especially as a romance genre
I hope they don't keep replaying flashbacks of how they met/fell in love and got married. It can get repetitive fast! But couples already together will have problems outside their love bubble - like crime or career problems or they show cracks in the marriage.
i love how the romance is build. It feels organic with how they grow closer and trust each other more and more,…
I love this! Thank you for your thoughts. I was hesitating based on others saying ML didn't seem badass (like in the King drama) and that it was corny. But I'm going to start watching now. ππ»ββοΈπ
And also what @junebug said, I like when humour or some sort of unique personality trait is used to develop the love story. Not just the usual love at first sight and then declaration of love within a few episodes.
Honestly support roles or main roles other than ML/FL/SML/SFL deserve more recognition and love. Its such a shame they don't get to take part in conferences or involved in any promotions. Its sad, because Go Kyu Pil has literally been in every show I've seen. He's just such a good actor and he's soo adorable. And a hard worker clearly, look at the amount of show's he's done, its insane.
