I like the sound of D Day but 20 episodes is a big investment for now, I'll put it on my list. I might give Somebody a try now whilst waiting for new episodes. Is he insanely evil where it will affect how I see him in this show (given that its back to back)?
I like it so far. Obviously like others have said, they're worried the ending will be bad, but that's with any drama these days I suppose. My only issue so far, I feel the ML isn't the most expressive actor, having not watched any of his prior work before I don't know if he has the range. There's no charm from him yet, I suppose that's because the character is depressed and meant to be that way. But FL is also depressed and I really like her! I'll keep watching!
I was so hesitant to watch this knowing what I've heard about the ending. But I just finished The Glory and desperately wanted to watch something with Lee Do Hyun. I'm soo glad I had the courage to watch this, I would've missed out on such a beautiful story. My god it was sooo good, I think I only got through it knowing what the ending was, otherwise I would be in an even bigger slump than I am right now. 😭😭 Even though you prepare for the ending and seal your heart. I'm still so sad about it, because every subtle comment made throughout the show hits you along the way. Eg. Him being so anxious because he was happy, because he's never had happiness like this nor does it ever last. 😭🤧 Or when they waste precious days apart, knowing what's coming. 🥺

Solid 8.5/10. Marked it down because I'm too annoyed at FL's brother, the contrived 'scene' in the final episode. 😩
Just finished Part 1 and I liked it. But hoping for a satisfactory revenge. She's making them all go crazy and fight within themselves, but she hasn't actually executed any of the deaths herself yet. And it feels like the hubby may end up killing Yeon Jin, hopefully not and Dong Eun will physically fight and get her chance. And I hope Yeo Jung doesn't provide anything more than support. I fear he may meet an end similar to the show My Name.
All the cast members are made for their roles, never more so true for Jang Uk, the role came alive with Wookie playing it. There may be flaws in both seasons but regardless, I loved both seasons. This remains as the number 1 fantasy drama for me.

He had to overcome the trauma, heal, and forgive himself for failing to save her (that’s the end of 4). He couldn’t recognise her soul because he was deep in his grief and to have hope is scary. Why only hate him for that and not the girl? The girl also moved on. Naksu/Yeong also needed to fall in love with him without knowing him because she would never forgive herself for killing him either. They both HAD to fall in love without them consciously knowing who the other is, but their SOULS recognised each other when they're minds didn't. This is the true meaning of love, its not about the body or face. Its about falling in with each other in every lifetime when your mind fails to recognise each other. And that’s beautiful.

Exactly this, I hate how some fans interpret this is as Jang Uk being 'dirty'/'cheater.' I think its so beautiful that subconsciously they gravitate towards each other and it was their souls always finding each other in every lifetime. This is the reason why they had to make sure Jang Uk realised it was Cho Yeong at the end of the season (which I know frustrates some people but it was necessary).

I think its something they would've shown, had they had more episodes and time. Such a shame really. So many stories could've been fleshed out. His reaction to recognising her and what he does with the news of the soul leaving could be one episode alone. And her soul returning to her body in ep10, we should've gotten another emotional reunion there too. 🤧🥺
