Actually that's the thing, the i love you wasn't after the cheek kiss because apparently they have been dating for weeks before that and they didn't show it and they are holding back because of barcode's age
This is an unpopular opinion so please don't attack me for it, it's just my perspective on it.
I'll start by saying that barcode's acting is phenomenal, he carries the emotional narrative so well and although it's his first role he is top notch in every scene, he sends me into a spirals of emotions each time he is on my screen and I'm truly proud of him HOWEVER considering that there will most likely not be a kiss between kimchay due to his age is rubbing me the wrong way because I think they should have casted someone else if it came down to it, there are many talented actors out there as he is but who are old enough to handle certain scenes although I believe this isn't because of barcode's level of comfort, I think that even though Thailand abides by their laws, they were most likely concerned for the international fans that's why they exclude any intimate scenes between them and it's upsetting because they shouldn't focus on satisfying western culture so much if that's what they are trying to do. Anyway this is just my opinion, barcode is amazing and I love him but I think kimchay fan's deserve to see more and I hope season 2 will provide us with that.

Honestly Porsche's development is going down hill not only with kinn but overall, I mean he literally sold his best friend out to his abuser for some information.
