Title Cross Fire Spoiler
Why do I feel like Xu Wei is going to put the blame on Xiao Feng? :( Its probably why Xiao Bei couldn't find Xiao Feng in modern time. He's probably in jail or murdered(?) I really dislike Xu Wei x.x

Title Cross Fire Spoiler
I'm a little confused on Chu Ge's dad ever since the history of the past sort of changed. So is Chu Ge's current dad her biological dad, or is he dead and the abusive drunkard is the stepdad? When she recited the essay she wrote, it seemed she really loved her dad but now she doesn't cause she's scared of him, etc. The picture in her locket was difficult to see, so I couldn't tell if it was her bio dad or not. So I'm confused hahaha

Thank you but I only wanted the Chinese sites because they're usually the first to update episodes. Sometimes they release the rest of the episodes as well. Episode 17 is out today, dramacool didn't update yet, but I was able to watch it on the Chinese sites.

Title The Song of Glory Spoiler
I really powered through 33 eps in 2 days with little to no sleep and had to stop myself cause my ABC ass couldn't…
That's the thing I notice with the drama, the villains are let off way too easily. Furthermore, Peng Cheng Wang seemed to have known that his mother wanted him dead for years. At least thats what my ABC ass understood when he refused to drink the "medicine" 太后 gave him to treat his "illness." He won't kill her off either. Another thing I notice is a lot of the orders made by the King when he's not present gets disregarded so easily. Lu Yuan seems to act like he has royal blood and is able to do whatever he wants. Then all of a sudden Lige's mother goes crazy just to make it difficult for Lige emotionally. Its basically just dragging at this point. :( It was good in the first half, I don't know about the rest but I'll keep watching. >.<

This is not wuxia, its just historical & political genre. Just because it has martial arts doesn't make it a wuxia…
Yes, I'll leave it at that as I do not want to talk to someone who gets so low by discriminating and judging other people. :) Thank you!

You need to stop making me laugh. No other wuxia sources would consider Song of Glory a WUXIA genre. Come back to me you when have credible sources that clearly states that THIS DRAMA is wuxia. Again, it doesn't matter if there's flying daggers, jumping over buildings, etc. I've seen plenty of historical dramas that don't even categorize as wuxia even if they include your usual inhumane martial arts. This drama is considered historical and political. Its focuses on politics from the get go, not martial arts let alone other wuxia elements. You're clearly missing the point! Also stop discriminating westerners, and judging people without knowing who they are.

Title The Song of Glory Spoiler
This is not wuxia, its just historical & political genre. Just because it has martial arts doesn't make it a wuxia…
Just because it has great martial art does not make its a wuxia drama. You are the one who is misleading the audience! It doesn't even have HALF of what majority wuxia dramas have. Joy of Life is similar to Song of Glory, plus it has more fictional elements but its not even wuxia because its not focused on the elements of wuxia. Just because the main character has inhumane martial arts does not make it wuxia. There's a whole world to it than just great martial arts from the beginning. Whether the main character started with 0 martial arts skills or 100, it all depends on the story as well as characteristics of the drama around them. You don't even see any other martial sects, in fact there's none. Furthermore, you don't see Lige cultivating at all, nor training. She's not even traveling like your typical wuxia character does, cause we don't see that. And if we don't see the journey of her cultivation, training, or any martial sects its not wuxia. "Themes of chivalry, tragedy, revenge & romance are common." its also common in historical and political dramas fyi! Like I said, just because she has great martial arts does not make this drama a 'wuxia' genre. She was an assassin from the get-go. I can tell the difference between xianxia and wuxia thank you very much. I suggest watching more wuxia dramas before you say someone is wrong. May I suggest the Proud Twins, Chinese Paladin series, the Condor Heroes series? Monster Killer series? The Magic Blade? Legend of Qin! Evernight season 1! All of these are wuxia dramas with actual wuxia elements unlike Song of Glory!

I didn't watch The Four so I can't say anything on it. I just know from experience that wuxia is based around a martial hero who travels the world to fight against evil. They learn to become the best martial hero of their world. You get to see their skills from 0 to 100. Yes, it involves tragedies, training and internal cultivation but Song of Glory is not even focused on training nor cultivation. Tragedies is always in every drama especially in historical dramas. We just know she came from assassination group and is out to get the Emperor. Do we see her training? No. Do we see her cultivating? No. All we see is her with great martial abilities; wuxia is based on a journey around the martial heroes. They travel Jianghu to learn more martial arts, gain friends and fight against evil. Further more, wuxia is also based around martial sects, all we see is a assassination group - not martial sect and we don't see any others either. Most wuxia dramas usually have many different sects that come together to compete, and all the other wuxia elements involved. If you want another drama example, Joy of Life - it also have great martial arts but it also not even categorized as wuxia because it doesn't have the elements that adds up to it being wuxia. Song of Glory is the same with Joy of Life.

Thanks God I found this wu xia series, they don't used much CGI like most wu xia series did today and I love the…
This is not wuxia, its just historical & political genre. Just because it has martial arts doesn't make it a wuxia genre. It lacks the elements of what is considered wuxia.

Is this Wuxia/martial arts? Seeing all the swords on the posters.
It does have martial arts but it's not wuxia genre. It's historical.
