It has romance. First between dr Xiao Yan and her fiancee, but he will get killed. Then she will fall in love…
Oh damn, my apologies, i actually didn't read the synopsis since i've read the novel lol. I thought it was major thing there but the synopsis really just gives it away.
What's airing schedule going to be like this week. Are we going to get another double episode. Just airing on Thursday & Friday or 2 episodes on Thurs and one of Friday & Saturday. I'm so confused.
Episode 11 has some of their best performance. That confrontation especially was so well done. Also kudos to the Production because the lighting, music and angles were all so on point.
I realize people think DYC is bratty and isn't really deserving of the Fl.. From my understanding of his character, he is somewhere between immaturity and gaining maturity as most adolescents are in that age. Many feel invincible only to realize their limitations later on. Part of his journey is realizing what his limitations are and moving on from there. As for the Fl, i see what she finds attractive in him even if she doesn't realize it. . She already sees in him what sets him apart from others. He isn't all words, everything he says or aims for, he puts everything in to make it happen. He's worked harder than anyone else. Everyone around him thinks he's crazy for the amount of effort he puts in training while studying in one of the hardest programs at school. For anyone who's already graduated will agree it's almost impossible to do for normal people. If he has the discipline and balance to do that, then it already shows more maturity than most people in his age group do. He has a solid goal he's been trying to achieve. Anyone who sees something they've literally put everything into slipping away and there is literally nothing they can do to improve, will have a hard time swallowing it. In terms of him childishly demanding Fl's attention, not everyone knows how to share and let go right off the bat. Especially of the one person they think sees them, who makes them feel special. He saw her as his person and felt betrayed when he felt she no longer believed him., worse that she was replacing him. That made him flip even more. He wants to do well but he also wants to do well for her. To know she has faith in him really matters to him and i don't think that's childish. Him learning to let go of his goals and adopting new ones, not hogging her attention is part of growing up he'll do during this journey. I believe the point of this story is partly to show that just because you couldn't excel in something doesn't mean you won't excel anywhere else. As long as you don't give up and keep utilizing opportunities and your skills, you'll get somewhere.
I for one am glad that DYC's character isn't without flaws. It's what makes him more real and 3 dimensional to me. Even for the best people, they give in to their own ego and desires at some point. Most people who become exceptional go after what they want bullheadedly, as in relentlessly no matter what the people around them say. Often times they learn their own limits by falling really hard. He is still shaping up to be the person he's meant to be. He isn't selfish or inconsiderate by nature but we all become the worst versions of ourself when pushed to our limits. The point is how we come back from it and that's what his journey is supposed to show anyways. Tbh i can see what the leads see in each other and why they would be attracted to each other eventually. They are both relentless, confident, optimistic and fair. They have belief and faith that most would term as naive but they like believing in the best. There is an innocence to them that most would lose with age, fame or pressure.
