I really hope they do justice to the story, It's quite nuanced and sutble in some ways. They have a good cast who can perform well but they can only do it if the script and production do well, Given that they had so much time, i have higher expectations.
This will probably air later in the year, towards Fall if not Winter if it just finished filming. I think they at least require 6 months for post production work.
At the end of the day, the most important element will be Allen's acting skills. As long as he can convey all…
Of course, will watch it and decide that. Sometimes these details don't matter at all. It's just that sometimes it's hard to co-relate what you've imagined with the final product. I'm still excited though because i really liked the story and i do like the actors. they're both seasoned. You can easily expect quality from them.
White or silver hair has been very common in drama land for the past few years. Maybe that's why they didn't do…
He has the innocent look down which is how he fits but i don't know, something feels off. I hope the feeling goes away when i watch it. Reba on the other hand is exactly what i imagined for Yunhe. She's perfect tailor made for the role.

It's understandable but i think they should focus more on what fits the story than what's popular. It was meant to fit his character, it just feels weird. Although i'm sure people who haven't ready the novel won't feel it.
I love Allen Ren but somehow he isn't the Changyi I imagined when reading the book. I guess i can get used to it but the one thing really irking me is the black hair. Ugh, They should have tried to stick with the silver hair and blue eyes. The eyes were so important in the story, they have so much to do with his character. I really hope since they have had enough time, the production won't disappoint. I've loved the Long Ballad so i have high hopes.
I think this will air before she and her perfect husband in March.
It might also come after but they should air it before because i do feel like she and her perfect husband will do better than this one. Simple because people are more into that genre than this one
I'm really looking forward to this. Hope it comes on soon. Iqiyi finally moved it up, but they've done it a dozen times before. I hope this time it works. Although there are already two of Yukee's shows on air right now. Don't know if something else from her will be shown so quickly. And a show of HYT is also airing right now.
Actors aside, what is there to like about this show? The story is absolute garbage. It literally revolves around…
FL should have run miles from both her family and the ML. There was no redemption from any of them for what they put her through. I'm still not sure if they actually had sex in ep 13 but either way it was messed up again since she was clearly intoxicated. I'm literally losing my mind thinking about it. How are plots like these acceptable to people and liked by them? (I'm Asian too btw, i know how our societies work so it isn't cultural shock. it's still messed up to me)
Actors aside, what is there to like about this show? The story is absolute garbage. It literally revolves around the idea of a woman who thinks she's been assaulted forced to marry the guy she thinks assaulted her, all because the guy is an overprotective brother with zero regard for anyone else. I don't even want to put a spoiler tag on this.
Great article. It's something i've always found disturbing as well. I mean even in modern korean shows like Something in the rain, we could see the FL's mother being boderline abusive. You see all other forms in most of the 'romantic' drama's available - the irony of that btw. I don't think i see it as often in newer stories anymore, particularly from SK but i could be wrong. I also think its decreased in C-drama's because of censorship. Although i have to say, i've seen the worst of it in Thai Lakorn's. They literally have a slap/kiss genre but i think things are starting to change somewhat. Change is slow but i hope it continues. the only way the content will change is if the mindset of the viewers and what's acceptable to society will change. Also getting new and young writers.
What is your opinion on Soo Ho been forgiven? Why he should not have been forgiven?
I don't think it really matters who takes the first step in a relationship when there is a sense of understanding. If they make it, they'll have time to talk. Their situation really doesn't leave room for that rn. I think in high rung situations, people mostly follow feelings and instincts. The talking comes when things calm down. It's why love in during war and tragedies is usually so passionate and emotionally high. There is no room for calmness. This is just my opinion though. It's better to talk but sometimes people just don't work that way.
OMG the stepmother is utter trash, she doesn't even care her own son died but all she cares about power. Such…
I don't think he was her son. Young ro called him Oppa, as far as i know that's used to refer to an older brother. That means, he has to be her full sibiling.
wtf, her last main role was back in 2017 and even then her over all main roles have been so few in between the past decade. What drugs are the people at her agency taking, honestly such a waste of talent.
This show is a hidden gem. I can't believe i nearly missed it. The friendship between the two leads was absolute wholesome. I love the potrayal of them as strong characters, that all characters were so real and genuine. Sexuality doesn't need to be dragged into everything, the chemistry between the two leads was everything while being platonic and i think that's important to show too. They made me wish for friends like them while being grateful for the ones i have. Your soulmate isn't always your life partner, it can also be your friend but it doesn't mean you love your partner any less. It's rightfully said friends are the family you choose, if you're lucky you'll find the right ones. Not all families are functional, the scars they leave sometimes run very deep but having good friends can pull you through anything, especially broken relationships because they lift you up. Particularly loved Gina Jin's character, her whole vibe actually. She was a walking, seemingly put together, chaotic mess. She portrayed it supremely well.
I suspect the remainder of the show is going to be about how Soo ho is going to try to gain her forgiveness from…
In Kdrama world anything is possible. Youngro is going to have to give up alot to be with him tho, i guess her self-respect too because no matter how much i like someone, if they point a gun at me after betraying me, i'm done. This is Kdrama though, they have exceptions to normal human reactions.
