rightt I haven't found something this year to like yet 💀
I've been rewatching all of my old favourites. Just finished Kunning Palace, Monarch Industry and Long Ballad. Now I'm having serious withdrawals.

I believe the original name of the book this drama is based on is "The Monarch Industry" or the Emperor's Industry". That's a much more apt title instead of rebel princess. Whether you were forced into power or coveted for it, it changed you. It showed how power corrupted people, even the best ones, and turned blood against blood. Turned loyalty.

Person Wang Chu Ran
She is so beautiful, but needs some acting lessons. Her acting is a bit cold and very restrained.
I think it's mostly before her characters are written this way but i'm sure experience will help. I hope her haters have calmed down.

Does anyone know what instrumentals played in the background throughout the show. It sounded like a classical piece. I'm trying to figure out where to find it.

The novel was 100X better than this messed up story. Why didn't they just stick with that is beyond me. There were so many things that were different, one of the major ones being that the adopted child came back and stayed with them till the end. The ML's mother never died, she had an important role in the story. And no one ever lost their memory ffs. It's like they wanted all the cliche trops in this show. And they made the ML toxic sort a guy who was cold which wasn't the case in the book, especially after they meet again. Ugh, so many things. I don't know why all the characters PGY plays are toxic, obsessed male characters. I want to see more work from the FL though.

I read a comment below that Feiyang will acquire L&P. Then who will become the ceo? Is it our power couple or…
Well generally you can aquire companies through shares, if you have enough shares you can become the major owner but anyone who can do the job well can become the CEO. Conglomerates often have a number of companies under an umbrella of a larger group and they all have their own CEOs. CEO is just someone who is responsible for execution of business. Similarly, you don't even need to be a chairman of shareholders to be have majority say. You only need to have majority shares to have control.

At this point we only have 9 episodes left and I really don't have the vision how he will be able to succeed with…
I won't spoil it for you but the novel had a very good lesson, was a healthy and frankly realistic ending compared to how revenge stories usually end. The story is actually about their growth and their dreams as people and them finding what they need more than what they want.

So FSM did dual degree or she completed Law in 3 years ???????I think Law will take more than 3yrs
It's possible. I did my undergrad in Political Science & Business from a which is 4 years before getting a law degree from the UK in 2 years because i already had a degree so the first year was waived off. Most law schools will generally have 3 years whether or not you do it as a Bachelor's degree or JD. I think China also has a three year law school program. But outside of North America and Australia, law degrees are usually Bachelor degrees. That's why if you already have a bachelor's degree, you can often get a year waived of your law degree. I would assume so that China would have similar practice but they might not.

Is that Resume or achievements fileWho have the patience to read that many papers or it's common in Chin@
Yes. Their resume style is different from the West. It's something taught to us in university when applying to make your resume suited to the country you're applying to.

director should make li xun cry some more..i mean,he lost his love, lost his sister, lost his company then he also…
I think it is realistic. Not everyone reacts the same way and people who suffer a lot of trauma sometimes shut down completely. After i lost my mom, i didn't cry for years, like more than a decade because i was just dealing with one thing after another until my 20s when i went to university, where my life finally slowed down. You don't tend to deal with trauma in survival mode. At times focusing on the pain makes people think they won't be able to function so they just burry it at the back of their mind or use it to fuel their goals. It is healthier to process it but not everyone has the capacity to do it at the time or the opportunity. Sometimes people can't afford to breakdown. Which is why it's said even the ability to cry is a blessing.

Their chemistry has to be right up there in the top. It just works. And i love that the story is so solid. This is the first adaptation where i see that they've made the story better without taking away the essence of it. So many adaptations change so many things in the drama that it doesn't hit you the same way. With this drama, it's like everything you imagined reading it, only better. I think i'll easily be rewatching this show without getting tired like YAMG or TMOPB

Didn't he help the prison department program some kind of security system? I think Ren Di mentioned it in episode…
It won't be that but he does need to catch up. Developing a prison system is one thing, what he knew was enough for that but with how fast technology is advancing, its all based on how programming evolves. Three years gap is quite a bit for that. Also this scene is right out of the novel where LX was sentenced for 10 years and came out after 7 years. Her giving him the book after a 7 years gap made more sense than the 3 year one but it still works.

Can anyone tell me if it's worth to watch. TYIA
Definitely. But it depends on what you're looking for. It was one of the most popular show when it aired and is still popular. The story was well done and actors were amazing in the show. But it really depends on what you're looking for specifically.

Such a freaking waste of the actors and even the damn story. I will say it again, the novel was soild, they could have made it better but they made it worse with plot holes. You don't get a real feel of the actors at all.

Yeahh, she fell very, very deep for Li Xun. After watching ep 22, i realized that to her, Li Xun is everything,…
The novel explains it better. She viewed them from the lens of Plato's quote. That men and women are one perfect soul and divided into two on earth. She looks at him as the other half of her. He's everything she isn't. I can't remember the exact words but it was something along the lines of sraight, direct, determined. He has vision of the long term and isn't scared of anyone. Thats why she could trust him and just let herself go. She would silently bend the rules her parents set before and defy them with little subtle rebeliousness but he gave her the wings to fly. She felt free and alive with him. Unlike everyone else, he saw the side of her no one else did. She is delicate but proud and defensive, he is confident and decsicive. She was just attracted to his character. Everything else he did for her and what she learned about him eventually added up to make her feelings stronger.
