I can't wait for cp to get "dethroned". He's really not fit to be a cp, and I dislike crown princess. She's manipulative and stupid. Crown princess knows lby will help her and cp bc she has css on her side. Ugh I'm so frusterated watching cp and crown princess. How can cp be so stupid to listen to his wife's plan, even a kid with normal logic will know it's a lousy plan.
This cp is useless and a wimp. He can't do big things if he's so paranoid just keeping the tiger amulet/stone safe. How is he going to rule a country with this type of self doubt and paranoia.
Irresponsible as sh*tJust making trouble with LBY cleaning his mess
I've been watching it without subs. Can you explain what cp did that caused lby to have to clean after him? I know it may have to do with cp's maternal realtives.
I just finished watching The Heart of Genius starring Steven Zhang and ZZF. I did just watch some scenes at double…
yes. It's pretty good. The ending doesn't seem rush and it seems well put together. The only thing is that I don't feel any chemistry between the leads. But Steven's acting is still great and the child actors were awesome.
I always suggest others to watch Nirvana in Fire and Joy of Life. No one is ever disappointing when watching these two dramas
Now that I finally finished ep 32 and have watched their argument, I believe they are both wrong and right in their own ways. CSS is grown outside of politics, she most she knows is these petty small revenge and tactics. She's also untainted and pure so when she wanted to help cp it was purely out of her fondness for the queen. She doesn't know helping cp would have any domino affects on anyone. She's not raised in the same environment as lby, so in her perspective she's not wrong and I don't think she is wrong. LBY wants to protect her by telling her to ignore and avoid things, basically turn a blind eye. But he doesn't explain or tell her why, just ordering her to. It's also his habit as a general by giving orders. A general doesn't necessarily have to explain to soldiers, he just has to give orders and see the result. Communication is key. They just lack this bc they aren't used to communicating with each other, especially since their feelings (mainly css' feelings) aren't deep yet. Also the problem is lby wants to take down cp but css is close to the queen so they have conflict of interest. It's hard for lby to explain his actions or reasons since he knows css won't agree plus risking her thrawting his efforts even more.
I'm on ep 32. CP is so trusting of everyone I feel like. He just entrusted the tiger amulet to lby. I mean it's to access an army and he just gives it away to someone for safe keep....
I just got fresh mellon flight will air in sept. It will be broadcast jointly by Dragon tv and Beijing TV as well as iqiyi. Also both wk and 7 will sing OST together
SIDE DISCUSSION:What is everyone currently watching while waiting for episodes of LLTG?I just finished ADOS earlier…
I just finished watching The Heart of Genius starring Steven Zhang and ZZF. I did just watch some scenes at double the speed aka fast fowarding. But, overall plot is fresh and I liked it. Finished it in two days. It's heavily math related in the beginning and I enjoyed the first half which involved child actors.
I had wonder why lby wasn't given to Consort to be raised, but instead was given to Queen. Consort, lby's mom/aunt, and the king grew up together. Consort and lby's mom were like frenemies bc they both liked the king, but the king liked consort so lby's mom gave up and married into Ling. so in that sense, Consort is closer to Huo family than the Queen. But During turbulent times, war was constant and the king had to go in to war often and he always brought Consort along side him. In the drama it was mentioned Consort had to leave 3rd princess to be taken cared of by her brother bc she was busy in war exhibitions, so that gave an idea as to why she didn't have time to take care of lby. Thus placing him in the care of the queen. By the time consort and king came back home, lby has been in queen's care for so long that it's not right to take him away from her bc that's not giving her face plus disrespecting her.
Haven't watched past ep 31 yet, but what I saw of the latest scenes on wb I likey. I think my fave scene will be when css hugs lby while crying and that causes him to be lost and helpless as to what to do. She asks him to hug her tighter 3x and each time my heart just melts at her cuteness and also I feel bad for her bc she felt wronged and she wants to let out the emotions from being bullied. I really like how lby just hugs her.
even if ss had not exposed her 3rd princess already disrespected Hou clan when she entered to the hall wearing…
We can't keep using her tragic childhood as an excuse for everything she does. If she's treated wrongly, we can sympathize with her, but what she did at that scene during the ancestral ceremony to pay respect to General Huo was disrespectful to both lby and General Huo. I haven't watched ep 32 so Idk what arguement they have. I think you are straying from the original point, from my post, being that during the ancestral ceremony, it's to pay respect to General Huo, but she took advantage of the situation and took revenge on 3rd princess. If she wanted to take revenge she could've done it at a different time, not when everyone was paying respects to Huo's death anniversary. We can tell how much the emperor respected and took importance on Huo's death anniversary since every year He would have his whole family pay respects. That's a very very high respect the king is giving since Huo isn't his father, but sworn brother. I've never seen an emperor do this before in any drama. So to have css cause all this trouble is also disrespecting the emperor. I know you would hate this and most likely diagree but I'm calling css petty at that moment. Her tragic childhood does not excuse her inconsiderate actions. I actually hope lby will get mad with her for this particular action bc she disrespected his "uncle". You don't disrespect the dead, especially not your fiance's family.
I read 2/3 of your post and I agree with the majority of what you said. It's refreshing to know somone is aware…
Exactly. She doesn't know the real trouble she'll get bc queen is too soft hearted and benevolent, while king is easy going on her bc of lby. She needs to be punished or else she won't learn. I saw in trailer that king punishes lby and tells css it's her fault. So I hope she learns a lesson from this. That there's casualties from her actions and not everything has to be return with revenge. I think if she was taught by the Consort, it would be much different.

We can not compare our perception of what teens are today as to what they were 1000+years ago. She's already passed her coming of age and technically she could be married and having kids within a year. She would already be considered a young adult since I'm sure mortality rates were high back then.
She has had time to grow, from her exposure and experience with the rebel soldiers to her engagement breakup and to being taught by the queen. Sure you can argue it's not enough time, but you can't deny that she has been exposed and experienced some already. She can't be be a baby and be held every step of her way to teach her. She should observe when given the opportunity. Just bc she's not scholarly or academically knowedgeable doesn't mean she can't use her own moral compass or common sense. She seems like street smart girl, so why couldn't she be considerate of the situation during the ancestory ceremony. Also, even in today's society, there's many illiterate people, or those with little education, yet they have a decent EQ, sometimes it's what we experience in life matters most, than books. In this case, I feel like CSS has experienced real life situations more than other noble ladies stuck in their house.
Also, this isn't an overnight thing she that should mature...it's Part 2 of this drama already so she has had plenty of time to mature.

Yes, but 3rd princess is a person that even disrespects the queen bc she knows her mother is the favoured wife. In that sense, it's logical that she would disprespect Huo General bc she's selfish, shallow and ungrateful. It's been repeated that she's raised by her merchant uncle hence why she is who she is. Also, 3rd princess' relationship with lby is different compared to css. CSS is lby's fiance, so she should've respected his ancestors, her actions shows that she doesn't care for lby as much, yet. The relationship is different, so one should be more considerate than the other.
WOW! ***standing ovation*** You said everything that I wanted to say. Good thing you wrote it because I'm still…
RIGHT!? aplogies for the caps. I feel like when someone likes the show too much, or is enormed by the character or w.e we can't or aren't allow to point out faults of the character. W.e the character does they have a perfectly explanable reason to back them up or we in turn become "haters". Hence, why I hesitate to point unfavourable things out, in fear of being bombarded with very opinionated, sometimes even skewed, opinions.
I'm glad qiqi gave css a wake up call about taking lby for granted just bc he likes her.
If cp can't even protect a damn stone, how can he protect his people and country. I can even do a better job than him.
