I'll try. The storyline is just a bit mundane for me. I know the last few chapters are the most exciting in the drama. I'll just slowly watch it with my mom.
It's fmv of their separate dramas. They never got married in the novel.
I wouldn't say it's a trap. Some fans, such as I, enjoy these fmvs. We get this fulfillment and enjoyment when the actual drama can't provide for us. For me, at least, I can easily differentiate which drama is which

Yes. It's very common for fans to do this. Utp has a lot. Everytime Allen and/or Seven has a new drama, fans will use a combination of their past, present and new dramas and edit into a fmv. Especially one for marriage since they never got a proper marriage in utp
A new mellon that 7 will be in a new movie in aug called Fortress of Money
I'm on wb and 7's fans keep mentioning something. I saw this post about actresses born in 90s that reach high cvb. so we know that GA reached 1.189 cvb (idk what cvb is), but momo also reached 0.83cvb. She's the only one with two different dramas that has high cvb. her numbers beat yz in oath, naza. Like there is another actress born in 1996 that has two dramas with 1.032 and 0.307 cvb, but 7's is higher.

I am 7's fan, but a realistic one. NM or momo did fairly well, but it didn't reach the same level or height as GA. It may be nominated for an award, but it may not win. I feel like JXSY had more hype than momo, but I could be wrong since momo aired on dragon tv. Flight on the other hand I'm putting all my money on to win or be nominate for an award or two. I don't think momo is even an S production, maybe A? What I see, momo is like a filler drama for 7's career, flight is an award grabbing drama that will solidify more on her acting skills and recognition and acknowledgement in the industry, home is the drama that will win her popularity since younger public tend to like romance more so it may bring her more traffic. I believe flight and home will help most with her career. I think after Home (if it's received well by public), she will reach the same status as yz. I feel like she's becoming a household name now, I see a lot of middle age group jurecognize her name, especially the aunties. Even if they aren't fans of her they will still make an effort to watch her drama or look out for her dramas. I would say give another 2-3 years and she would reach the status as zly. 7 doesn't have as much hype or traffic as yz or zly bc she prefers to use her acting and work to speek for herself, but also she doesn't have a big company to back her up. If she had a big company to back her up then she would've been popular years ago, maybe after With You aired.

lyf isn't on my list of actors for 7 to collab. I don't think he's handsome nor do I think his acting is that good. I watched twin mirror and it was bad.

I see 2 strong rumors that's prevalent on wb. One is her collab with lyf, but says contract hasn't signed. Another is that big fl period drama. Bith have been on mellon constantly

Romance wasn't enough meaning I needed more scnes of hugs and kisses. The main focus is more on familial, but romance can bud into familial relationship (e.g., husband and wife are families to one another). I just enjoy seeing the leads together, there just wasn't enough of it near the end. There is a love triangle between the lead but it's very very brief. Long story short, the younger brother was misled, by his bff, that he liked fl in a romantic way. His ultimate goal and wish is to basically be legally registered under the Li family household (fl's family). So he stupidly thought that if he were to marry fl then he could be legalized to surname Li. There's an old custom that sometimes when a female, perhaps come from a rich or powerful family, doesn't want to marry outside her family name....maybe she is an heiress to a company or family name...then her or her family will look for a male that is willing to marry into her family, thus changing his surname to her's. Typically it's the other way around where when wives marry their husbands they would change their surname to their husbands'. So in this case, 2nd ml wants to change his surname to fl's. This is like major proof that he only sees her as his sister. Also, the fact that he can't stand kissing her and thinks it's gross that they would make love is literally red flag that he doesn't like her in a romantic way. He's a sweet guy, just misguided and has separation anxiety bc of his biological parents. Also, the director and writers of this drama took careful detail in separating the two mls. older bro lives in a different apt floor, so he can be referred as neighbourly brothers, while younger bro lives in same roof/apt as fl so he's more of the foster brother. Also, older bro calls fl's dad "Li dad", by adding the surname in front of dad creates a fine line between the relationship. It's like referring Li dad as uncle, but in a more intimate way. While younger bro straight up refers fl's dad as "dad" which he sees her dad as his own dad. older bro is more mantally mature, he's aware about the opposite sex at a young age already, yet younger bro doesn't seem like he's aware at all, more like he's a late bloomer in the love department. That's why I was frusterated when majority of the people wanted younger bro to be with fl. They were just scratching the surface of the drama but not fully understanding or really watching it. I get it, the audience is more emotionally invested in younger bro so they feel more for him than older bro. But, really?! they want fl to be with a man that doesn't even want to be romantically involved with her?? Where's her happiness if she's with him. I like older bro more bc I tend to like the guys that seem all perfect on the outside but are actually damaged inside. Fl is his salvation. I swear if fl wasn't his glimpse of hope, he would've most likely suicide. So that's why his hugs are so different from other mls. Everytime he hugs her it's like shes his oxygen. I also analyzed the way he kissed her haha. In their first kiss, he would open his eyes first to judge her reaction to give any indication if she reciprocated romantically, in any way. He's like the perfect guy (smart, handsome, tall, perceptive, great career), but so insecure inside. He's insecure about fl's feelings towards him bc he thinks she's only with him bc she pities him. So he was scared she would like younger bro bc they are of equal, meaning both brothers have spent equal years with fl and have grown up together. So older bro was afraid fl would pity younger bro more and leave him. Sigh, such a complicated man. It's a happy ending.

Out of all the dramas, I really love Go Ahead. The drama held so much meaning and touched upon many social topics such as mental health and different types of familial relations and friendship. It's very heartwarming, and many say the beginning reminds them of Reply 1997. I especially loved the relationship between the 3 leads or "siblings". Be warned, some found it "incest" which I find absurd, but I guess it depends on the culture of that particular viewer. For e.g., I learned that most Indians found it weird for the leads to fall in love bc they started as "sibling" relationships and in their culture if they refer each other as, non-blooded, brothers/sisters then it's for life meaning there won't be romantic feelings evolved. But in Chinese and even in Korean culture it's different. "brother/oppa" can referred to as blood sibling, husband, friend or bf. I also liked the details and meanings/symbolisms from their actions or what they say as well as the use of background detail. For e.g., the pictures on the ml's childhood bedroom, the goldfishes (that has symbolism), even the shoes they wore. Although romance wasn't enough for me, but the kisses and hugs, sigh I really loved it. The way ml hugged fl was different from other hugs i've seen in other dramas. I won't delve too much in case you may want to watch and I spoil too much. Seven did wonderfully in Go Ahead, Steven as well. Song Weilong is still very much young and inexperienced but I can see the potential that has yet to be tapped into. There may be some awkward acting on his part, but there are some scenes that he did pretty well, I wouldn't pick any other actor to play LingXiao. Overall, I think the cast was picked wonderfully. Be warned, again, you may need tissues as this drama will bring you a roller coaster ride of emotions.

I like that ml gradually likes fl. It's a slow burn. I'd say skip the 2nd lead couple, they arr boring and not really important. It's a bit draggy, but overall not bad.

Affection perhaps in the last few eps of this drama. If you read the comments here most want to slap ml and some rather have fl stay single. You can try Under the Power, script/plot/cgi is mediocre at best but onscreen chemistry between the leads is on fire. It's really what carried the drama the whole way through and what got me watching the drama to the end. There's an english translated novel of Road to Home online, it's a quick read and I enjoyed it a lot, hence why I'm excited for the drama. it's definitely a bit of angst before sweet romance, but I feel like it makes the leads appreciate and treasure their love and find gratefulness. If you have watched My Sunshine, the mood reminds me a bit of it. I've watched the promotional video and it gives off a late 90s-early 00's vibe of kdrama like Winter Sonata.

I just reread the synopsis, after reading your comment, and I find the synopsis to be spot on about the drama. It basically got the whole gist of the drama. The synopsis doesn't really hint on anything about romance. It blatantly said fl wanted to be an investment director, which is really the main plot of this drama. Both ml and fl did dad personal growths and they did learn from each other. There's not much ups and downs in this drama, and definitely minimal on romance. Seven Tan doesn't take on romcoms anymore, she wants to change her image/career route, which I believe she's on the right track and doing pretty well. This may not be the drama for you, but defiinitely look out for Road to Home next year as it's a 100% romance based novel/drama by author MBFB, who is also the script writer for the drama. So I am pretty rest assured she will do her novel justice. Also, I find the ml in Road to Home more handsome than Kenny (no offence boy), so I am definitely much more excited for this particular drama.
