Yea, I try not to publicly say anything about these A-listers' acting skills or anything personal about them, including how they look bc they have fans that will back them up, regardless if what I say is reasonable or logical. If I want to criticize them I just chat in a more private media setting. People can't take constructive criticism these days. Everyone is butt hurt and sensitive. I mean like everyone...throwing the race card or the feminism thing. Can't joke or make a comment without having someone offended.
Funny thing is UTP wasn't expected to be such a hit, it was an unexpected accident haha. Hence why the budget was low, plus they used all the budget for LY's costumes. So Allen got more popular after compared to 7. Also, I think Allen has higher budget dramas bc he has a company to back him up. He's in the same company that YZ was in, while 7 is a one woman show. She's an independent artist, which I respect and admire so much bc she really worked hard to get to where she is now which no backings or resources. All through her hard work, which is why it took her quite a while to finally receive recognitions.
I didn't finish TOOL, watched up to ep 3 and had to drop it. Wasn't my type, I don't like fl as a "Sha Bai Tian". It's a typical romcom, which I'm over it. So I was surprsied that yz would take this role since I thought she wanted to change her image. I didn't watch ggs since I dion't like gaming dramas, and Lixian is just eh for me. But I did enjoy YAMG. the only drama I fully watched of yz was AOL, and DL helped a lot in making me continue watching it, though I did skip some eps. As for reba, I've only watched Peach Blossoms, and skimmed most of Pillow Book. Yamg was good bc she was basically playing herself. BW is an improvement for her, but I don't really see any strong chemistry between her and allen. I thought they played their respective characters well though, just didn't felt the cp.
totally agreed! Her drama results and ratings should be an A lister already, but sadly she's not. I've read comments comparing both actresses (yz and 7) who got great results with their dramas (AOL and GGS) (UTP and GA), both a modern and period, yet resulting success for the two girls are vastly different. Yz became an A-lister and 7 is still hovering between the fences. But, what I'm thankful is the industry (directors, writers, producers, other actors etc) are starting to recognize and even acknowledge 7's skills. So it's a step in the right direction for her success. As we can see, her resources have improved! her male costars are getting better and better!! Wk costaring in flight with 7 should mean something, 7 was just a side character in love 020 where jbr was ml, but now 7 is fl with jbr. So I'm excited who her next costar is, it can only get better, or the same level, not worse. I think getting S production/scripts is attainable for her, just not S+ yet. I would love for her to get a S+ script, even if fl role is small like Liqin in JOL.
I hope flight will allow her to have more recognition and maybe even awards. This is the only time where I hope it's not romance centered but about career/case focus. I love a good love triangle, but I hope it's minimalized. That's what Home is for hehe. Now, that I want romance through and through, which is why I'm so thrilled she was casted in Home. I love a good mature romance drama, not the romcom silly type. Something with a bit of angst to the touch would be great. So I hope the drama doesnt stray too far from the novel. Honestly, our 7 is cute, but she is a bit inferior in the looks if compared to other actresses like yz, bailu, reba etc. Hence why she gets the hate. I feel like other people are mad that an actress that doesn't have outstanding beauty is getting recognition; Chinese industry is so superficial, it's all about the looks.

yes it has. there was brief rumor that it might air in April. But April also has competition though I rather it sooner than later. I don't want momo airing close to the date of flight since both are more career driven FLs. It'll be too similar of concept there people will compare.

It's just a fleeting rumor. 7 doesn't usually collab again with same male lead costars. But, I hope one day they will collab again. Currently, I can't find anyone that matches Allen and have that powerful chemistry, on screen, other than 7.

But when it comes to certain shows or movies, such as Marvel movies I don't want spoilers. I was so mad when I found out all 3 spideys would appear in the latest SpiderMan movie. I was a mega spoil and devastated me during that short moment.
