Ding ding as a guest role was sn unknown pleasant surprise for me.

She still hasn't returned to the Chinese entertainment industry, only slighly in the Hollywood. I doubt she can make a comeback anymore since she's mostly forgotten by the public in China. Celebrity turnover rate is crazy high.

Making a comeback is hard since it's not just the acting committee and gov't allowing him back but the public. A lot of public in China are condemning him already.

I had thoughts of what's the actual point of this drama and I'm on ep 3 only. I've only seen them constantly drinking, which doesn't appeal to me

So they changed the the plot. Seems like they may end up together.

I feel like they have people for that, like their lawyers, auditors or accountants, even the managers maybe. It's just that some just choose to risk it and go down this path. It's really unfortunate, I just hope no more of this kind of news happening to others.

oh, ok. How do you know this? Is this based on a novel or original script? Dw, I'm not worried, it may be harsh to say, but idc about the 2nd couple. I don't think they play the antagonists that'll affect the relationship between the main leads.

I'll probably give it a shot until I can't. I am intrigues why the leads chose this script since I thought YZ was trying to change her image. I feel like there has to be something that caught her eye to choose this script, which I think may be in the later eps. So I'll check in on the drama once in a while to see how it's going. I'm sure there will be more angst later, given what is about to happen later.

I know how crazy and protective the fanbase is for both leads, especially for XZ. I'm not about to criticize or give my opinion on the actors. I feel like the bigger the fanbase and the more protective they are, they can sometimes be unreasonable (god forbid I get hate for saying this) and can't take anything thrown at to their idol in a civilized manner. If I give any indication of my opinion, that's negative, of these lead's acting skills or w.e, this page will blow up. So, there's no point. I have a neutral opinion on XZ, haven't watched any of his dramas, though I do know he got famous for Untamed. None of his dramas appealed to me simply bc the genres he did didn't appeal to me. So If I do end up (god forbid that I do) writing a constructive criticism about his acting skills or how he portrays his emotions or w.e, it's simply just solely based on the acting, not bc I'm an anti or attacking him. Too bad people can't take constructive criticism these days. I mean look what's happening, people are already on guard just bc I'm writing about the script.

It's the greed. Making money isn't easy, even for celebs, and seeing this large sum of money having to be given away for taxes....they will have these misguided thoughts. Everyone wants to save more for themselves, it's just the basic greed.

I don't need foresight to know, it's the typical 2nd lead couple in any romcom, Unless this is your first time watching a romcom. ...They meet in a bar, the 2nd ml falls in love with 2nd fl bc she's good looking, he hits on her and starts chasing her. She rejects. They quarrel and eventually they end up together. This is my own opinion and I can say what I want. I find my critiques to be pretty fair and logical and respectful already. I don't need your sarcasm, if you don't like my opinions, you can simply ignore.

I feel relief in knowing I'm not the only one with similar opinions to this drama. I agreed pretty much with everything you said. The plot is really outdated, and lacking substance, but to give it a fair shot I will continue a bit more until I can't. I hope Blue Whispher is better.

This following critic has nothing to do with yz or xz's acting (I'm not going to bother with that since I won't want any trolls and fans coming at me). SPOILERS AHEAD.


The beginning is nothing special or novel. It's a very typical romcom meeting. I find the script, so far, lacking and can tweak it a bit to make it flow more. For instances, fl was at the club and she was hiding from her dad by using ml as bait and using his jacket to cover herself. Then why when her dad called her name she immediately gave in and turned around. What's the point then. I also thought she's very disrespectful to the doctor, ml, bc of her bias experience, and it was totally her fault yet she unreasonably blamed ml. I find her character childish and at times disrespectful to other's feelings. My mom has been to the hospital, and I've interacted with doctors many times so I feel like they are helping my parent so I should be respectful and courteous, not rude and disrespectful and distrusting. If she has questions or distrusts doc's judgement then she can politely ask him for further discussion.

Lastly, I think the 2fl /ml is very redundant and insignificant to the whole drama. I will be skipping their scenes. I know these roles are mainly just filler roles. With or without them they don't effect the events in the drama.

Honestly, if this drama wasn't for A list actors as these two leads, I doubt this drama would be half as successful if it were acted from different actors. This plot is somewhat outdated or overused, more suited for earlier years, could possibly be blamed for the delayed broadcasting. I will still give this drama a try, but I would mainly skim the eps and just watch w.e scene interests me.

It was just a few months ago, I believe the beginning of this year, a popular and successful Chinese online shopping channel broadcaster also evaded tax and so her career ended. It also caused chaos online just like dl's case. So with that recent news, I thought celebs would've learned and be more careful but I'm just annoyed and surprised they still keep at it.

I saw a video, not sure how credible it is, that the tax bureau or w.e gave warning to DL but he ignored and still continued. So in the end this happened.

He's one of the actor I liked and I enjoyed his variety shows. He seemed like a sweet genuine guy. He's already so rich and successful why tax evade knowing the consequences and examples from others already

Again, why is this not airing?? I'm surprised and perplexed since it's LYF. Shouldn't her drama turnover rate be over the roof, so why is this shelved?

I get that. It's just cultural difference. My mom, immigrated from China, said China is a materialistic and superficial society. If you don't have the lstest brand or wesr something expensive then they look down on you and treatment is different while in western country we dont care too much about that unless you specifically go to these upper high scale restaurants then yes you are expected to dress fancy. But im sure if one wears a hoodie and jeans to a luxury brand store itll be fine. I feel like if you are of old money or raised properly then one doesnt have to have brand designs written all over a shirt to showcase one's wealth. It's more about their manners and habits, how they converse and even how well traveled. I have a friend, who is an only child and her parents are well off, they have multuple apartments, luxury cars, vacations to European countries yearly etc, but she still had a part time job during hs and uni.

Also, they place strong emphasize on seniority in hs, uni and work. While all types of ages go to uni. Sometimes a 4th yr student will take a 1st yr uni class. We don't base things in seniority, only at work. I feel like that's mostly in all western countries. I dont think i could mentally live comfortably in China, Japan or Korea. Great for vacations though
