Can't help it, our girl XY is just that loveable.

Her voice is a bit raspy at time in certain moments, but overall it's still good. It's clear, with the right touch of emotion when needed. Still props to her, many actresses and actors still use voice dubbing bc they don't have clear pronunciation or the tone and pacing isn't strong enough.

Yes! It's the highlight of my day ever since this drama aired. I put aside everything to watch and I'm just so giddy. I haven't felt that for a drama in a long time

XY as Ningan asked HY in the past if there are pig and flower demon. Then look what happened, the first time XY entered Demon Valley, it was Luo luo and Dali accompanying XY. HY had those two demons bc XY asked back then. Ep 26 is a life saver, It showed so much details that I should rewatch the first 5 eps to find out more hints that HY knew it was XY all along. It's definitely a mystery to be revealed

I quite like slow burn, I've watched a lot of ss' dramas and it's all slow burn. The best one was Under the Power. They had about 2 kisses, one was a close up of the lips to feed the meds, the second was s shot of two heads blocking each other so don't even know if lips touched (prob didn't bc RJL had a rule of no onscreen kissing). But my god, the gaze, the shift of behaviour from ml, from willing to sacrfice her in an instant to kneeling down to the enemy to beg for her safety. They had intense chemistry. Fast pace if fun to watch, but I don't feel the romance bc it's not realistic for me.

Someone mentioned that HY might not want XY to experience the pain of killing him, knowing she also killed herself (when the cat demon relayed what happened after he died).

This drama's main theme is cause and effect. The effect of Wuhei releasing the 3 godly beasts caused HY to agree to send XY back to the past which caused all this lifetime loop. The effect of HY using that spell to commit double suicide with the Illusion Immortal caused him to lose his powers.

Everything is becoming clearer, what I'm still confused is how is XY half human half demon. I guess time will tell, maybe after she returns from the 2nd timetravel she will find out.

Have yall notice that shrimp eel noodle wasn't invented 100 years ago, it was actually XY that invented it!! The royal cooks learned from her. I think HY didn't recognize the noodle bc XY dumped an ocean amount of spices. And the friendship thing that HY said to XY in the present, something about XY being his only friend, and we were all like wtf so random (even XY thought it was random), turns out it was XY in the future wanting to be friends with HY in the past, so she was his first and only friend. OMG, the director is brilliant.

Too bad, in this day and age, it's all about fast pace, quick short drama plot style. No one has the patience to piece the plot and watch slow burn anymore : (

Why doesn't HY drink the spring water to gain his powers back?

I just had an idea. So the leads married 3x but seems like BE, what if the current hy and xy also have a BE, it seems like a cycle that they can't break. So does that mean xy or hy has to do something to stop this cy;ce??

I love the timeline of Ninang, shows how different hy used to be before he was stabbed and betrayed. He mentioned he's never cried, but the future hy has been crying so easily.

SAME, I felt like the grandpa was like a dad protecting xy, his daughter, from being stolen from a guy, hy, and then finally having to marry her off.

Ep 26 shows hint of hy knowing xy is ningnan. I felt strange when hy told xy on the rooftop that she is his only friend. But, now it makes sense, when in xy transmigrated to ningnan, she asked hy if he had any friends, and that she wants to be his friend. So 100years ago, ningan was his first and only friend, and when hy in the present said that to xy it just proves he already knew!!!
